Political Idolatry? John Hagee’s Church Breaks out in ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Chant

Editor’s Note. An earlier version of this article described the event as happening during their Sunday service. In reality, it happened during Clay Clarke’s Reawaken America Tour, which Hagee’s Cornerstone Church hosted from the 11th to the 13th.

Furthermore, the church itself has released a new update, writing “This past week, Cornerstone Church facilities were used by an outside organization. Cornerstone Church is not associated with this organization and does not endorse their views.”

We are leaving the unedited article up for the sake of transparency, with the erroneous words striken through.

Proving that Greg Locke is not unique in his ability to conjure up a ‘Let’s go Brandon’ chant in the middle of service, he was joined yesterday by famed false teacher and heretic John Hagee, whose own congregation likewise broken out in the infamous rallying cry during their November 7th service.

During the service, the speaker on stage was firing up the crowd and actively encouraging them to chant it, with the majority of the congregants joining in as he let them through the chant fit for a sports arena.

While some may share the sentiment, the pulpit is decidedly not the place for this. It is to be reserved for preaching and teaching, not for shouting out stand covert language for coarse expressions.

Greg Locke’s Church Chants ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ During Service

Yesterday Morning, “Pastor” Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, TN let a guest pastor take the pulpit for a brief spin, resulting in a shameful cheer by congregants of the deceived church.

Readers of Protestia will recognize Locke as the foul-mouthed, spouse-abusing-and-abandoning, Tennessee “pastor” who notoriously divorced his wife of two decades and quickly married his secretary, claimed that “Mitch McConnell is being controlled by Illuminati hand signals,” threatened a Dunkin’ Donuts worker with kicking his teeth down his throat, and recently said that if you deny the existence of tunnels under the White House or Capitol Building that were uncovered by the military and used to house both live and dead children, you’re just as complicit in the abuse as “crack-smoking perverts.” All that when he was not putting up signs telling potential visitors” If you Come to Church in a Mask, I’ll Kick you Out.”

During the morning service, Mark Burns of Harvest Praise & Worship Center in South Carolina, as well as a political candidate for congress and co-founder of the NOW Television Network, took the opportunity on stage to lead the congregation in a spirited chant of “Let’s Go Brandon”- a phrase designed to be a stand-in for the coarser and profane “Fu– Joe Biden’- in the middle of his sermon.

Is anybody who’s ready to get rid of Joe Biden, we got to get rid of Joe Biden. We got to get rid of them. We got to get rid of. God help me. Lord, we got to get rid of them. We got to get rid of Kamala Harris. Anybody got to stand with me Global? Is anybody going to stand with me?

And can I say somethingt that’s very controversial. We should live in a country where our grown women should be allowed to go into a woman’s bathroom without being (unintelligible) by a grown man wearing a dress, pretending to be a woman.

…Globe, are you going to sit back and let that nasty evil mess take over our country? This is why we need leaders.

(Let’s go Brandon chant)

Globe I feel like I’m in the right church today. I’m in the right church.”

Popular ‘Christian’ Media Personality Jen Hatmaker Files For Divorce From Husband

Update. Jen Hatmaker has now shared the news on her Facebook page, writing:

“I first thank you for the kindness you have shown these last two months. We are in a moment with no handbook and without a single clue how to navigate this privately, much less publicly. I don’t know how to hide grief, so I haven’t, and I am grateful for your absolute decency these last few weeks. I don’t know how to say this, and I still cannot believe I am even saying it, but Brandon and I are getting divorced. Although the details are ours alone, this was completely unexpected, and I remain stunned as we speak. I am shocked, grief-stricken, and broken-hearted.

Although this community is impossibly dear, beloved to me, in case you are an interloper who revels in the pain of another, I beg you to spare us your cruelty. We have suffered so greatly. (Hateful comments that harm our family will be deleted.) The kids and I are getting away to retreat for awhile, and I ask for your kindness…and for some room to breathe. Please respect the privacy of our children and our extended family. Our loss is not for public devouring. We are real people managing this in our real life in real time, and we are doing the absolute best we know how to do.

If you pray, pray for us. Hold us so dear to your hearts. We have felt your prayers these last few weeks. We have experienced your mercy. Thank you for being good to us. Know that we are deeply surrounded by love and have not been alone a single second in two months. Please help protect us and keep us safe as we try to heal and rebuild.

Yours,
Jen”

Jen Hatmaker, the gay-affirming Christian media personality who’s not actually a Christian, has filed for divorce from her husband, Brandon Hatmaker. The move to end their marriage was initiated late last month in a Texas Courthouse, in documents that have been uncovered today, but have not been announced yet by either spouse yet.

The couple has been married 26 years and have 5 children. Apart from their TV shows and books they’ve written and started in, the Hatmakers also founded Austin New Church in Austin, Texas, where Brandon is a Pastor and Jen is a board member.

Hatmaker has hinted these last few weeks that things have not been well, describing it in a bit of detail on her Instagram and other places.

No cause has been given yet, as it has not been made public, but we expect one soon.

While Jen has cut back on her public engagements these last few weeks, she is still expected to give a talk at the Evolving Faith conference, the progressive get-’em-up where heretics go to burn off some steam and explain in contorted, esoteric ramblings why they really do love Jesus by demonstrating their hatred for him.

Pray for repentance for the Hatmakers and comfort for their children.
