Oklahoma Gov. Signs Bill Stripping Medical Licenses of Abortion Doctors: ‘I’m Keeping My Promise’

(Christian Headlines) Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed three pro-life bills into law Monday, including one that prohibits abortions if a heartbeat is detected and another that suspends the medical license of doctors who perform an abortion.

House Bill 2441, which passed the House 80-19 and the Senate 37-10, requires medical personnel to determine if an “unborn child has a heartbeat” before performing an abortion. It prohibits abortions if a heartbeat is detected, although it includes exceptions to protect the life of the mother and if an abortion would “avert serious risk of substantial and irreversible physical impairment of a major bodily function,” but not “including psychological or emotional conditions.”

Medical personnel who violate the law would “be guilty of homicide,” according to the text of the new law. 

Stitt signed another bill, HB 1102, that modifies the categories of “unprofessional conduct” in the licensing of doctors to include the performance of an abortion unless the procedure is performed to prevent the death or significant physical impairment of the mother. Any doctor who performs an abortion would lose their medical license for at least one year.

‘Christian’ University Faculty Revolt After Board Votes to Affirm Biblical View of Sexuality

(Faithwire) The faculty members at Seattle Pacific University — a Christian college in Washington state — have cast a vote of “no confidence” in the leadership of the school’s board of trustees, which, last week, voted to affirm a biblical interpretation of sexuality.

In total, the university’s faculty senate received responses from 90% of all faculty members, 72% of whom favored the vote of the no confidence while 22% said they opposed it, according to The Seattle Times.

“The board’s decision to maintain SPU’s discriminatory hiring policy related to human sexuality, as well as its manner of delivering that decision, have regrettably compelled the faculty of SPU to pass a vote of no confidence in the SPU board of trustees,” read a statement from the faculty senate, adding that the decision by the school’s leadership “imperil[s] the ability of SPU and its community to flourish.”

Prominent Evangelist Banned From American Airlines After Preaching, No Reason or Recourse

(Reformation Charlotte) Prominent Evangelist, Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel, who is known for his defense of the gospel against counterfeit perversions of the gospel like Roman Catholicism, says he was banned from American Airlines after traveling to Green Bay to preach at a local church.

Gendron says that during his flight back to Dallas, he was stopped at the airport in Green Bay and told that he could not continue his trip home on American Airlines. “Two days later, when we arrived at the airport in Green Bay to fly back home,” Gendron told Reformation Charlotte. “I was told that I could no longer fly on AA because I violated the face mask mandate on flight 1408.

Gendron says that he wore his mask during the entire flight, yet, he was stranded in Green Bay and had to pay for a hotel and a flight on another airline.

PROTEST: Conservative Signs Mocking Critical Race Theory Placed near SEBTS Campus

Capstone Report) Will SEBTS tolerate the conservative signs on public rights-of-way or will they remove the signs?

A conservative Southern Baptist at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) placed several signs protesting the use of Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality by Southern Baptist institutions like SEBTS. The signs placed on public rights-of-way read ANALYTICAL TOOLS stylized with a Soviet letter resembling N (a Cyrillic И ) and the hammer and sickle for both Os in tools.

A Twitter user took credit for the conservative protest against Racial Identity Politics. He said he placed “several” signs around campus. In a tweet he said, “A campaign sign is the language of the unheard.”

The signs were specifically targeted at SEBTS in order to “force a discussion internally on campus.” The conservative activist wanted to send a message to the few remaining conservative students at SEBTS. The activist wanted anyone doubting the Leftist narrative to know that they “aren’t alone.”

Pressure Gage tweeted, “I wonder how long it will take @SEBTS @CollegeSE to remove political expression in a public right of way. They love illegal and violent protests. Will they allow a lawful one? I know the college and the seminary are two of the most heavy-handed SJW institutions available, but if the signs are still there, blink once. If they’re gone, blink twice.”

SBC Prez J.D. Greear plays Identity Politics with Southern Baptist Convention Appointments

(Capstone Report) New committee appointments over-represent favored groups considered oppressed by secular society and under-represent whites and males. The SBC is 85% White but only 49% of the new appointments are White. Is this real diversity or Affirmative Action at work?

SBC President J.D. Greear appointed the SBC’s 2021 Committee on Committees (yes, that is a real thing), and it looks nothing like the community it serves. The Committee is composed of 39 women, 29 men and is majority non-white. In other words, the committee over-represents certain preferred groups at the expense of the people who pay the bills and faithfully attend Southern Baptist Convention churches. And, SBC Elites justify this with their new idol—Diversity.

“I am grateful for this diverse group and their willingness to be a part of the process, many of them serving for the first time,” Greear said in a statement published by Pravda, err Baptist Press. “They are people who want to unify around the Gospel above all and who believe we must be a convention that reflects the coming Kingdom while we engage the next generation on mission. They truly are Great Commission Baptists.”

The BP story is worthy of a press release from a Woke corporation like Delta or Coke.

Gone is any notion that the SBC system should represent the churches it serves. Instead, diversity is the new idol.

Young Pregnant Pro-abortion Leader in Argentina Dies after Legal Abortion

(LifeSiteNews) — A 23-year-old woman died in a hospital in San Martin in the Argentinian province of Mendoza last Sunday, four days after having undergone a legal abortion in the neighboring town of La Paz. Maria del Valle Gonzalez Lopez’ death was attributed to hemorrhage and general septicemia according to what is known of her autopsy report.

Judicial investigations are underway to determine whether her death was related to the abortion and whether she fell victim to medical malpractice. What is known is that she was a rising figure in the pro-abortion “Union Civica Radical,” a historic Argentinian left-wing party affiliated with the Socialist International, having been elected last year as president of the Youth section of the Radicals in La Paz.

Del Valle is the first mother who is known to have died since abortion on demand was made legal in Argentina earlier this year. She was a university student studying social work and had a boyfriend. Her party campaigned for legal abortion, and while it is not clear whether she personally joined pro-abortion “green scarf” rallies, her party had always told her that legal abortion is “safe” and a question of personal choice.

Feminist organizations in Argentina have not commented on the news, nor have they warned, in the wake of the tragedy, that legal abortion kills women.

$10,000,000 in Damages! Liberty Sues Jerry Falwell Jr. for Sullying its Reputation

(ABC News) Liberty University has filed a civil lawsuit against its former leader, Jerry Falwell Jr., seeking millions in damages after the two parted ways acrimoniously last year.

The complaint, filed Thursday in Lynchburg Circuit Court, alleges Falwell crafted a “well-resourced exit strategy” from his role as president and chancellor in the form of a 2019 employment agreement while withholding from the school key details about a personal scandal that exploded into public view last year.

“Despite his clear duties as an executive and officer at Liberty, Falwell Jr. chose personal protection,” the lawsuit says.

It also alleges that Falwell failed to disclose and address “the issue of his personal impairment by alcohol” and has refused to fully return Liberty’s confidential information and other personal property.

Falwell responded to a phone call from The Associated Press on Friday with a text saying he was not available to talk.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney representing him in the matter. The AP left a message seeking comment with an attorney who has represented him previously.

Falwell’s departure from the Virginia university in August 2020 came soon after Giancarlo Granda, a younger business partner of the Falwell family, said he had a yearslong sexual relationship with Falwell’s wife, Becki Falwell, and that Jerry Falwell participated in some of the liaisons as a voyeur.

Televangelist Jim Bakker talks End-time Astroids, Transdimensional Beings, Wormwood, and Alien Virus

(Right Wing Watch) While televangelist Jim Bakker’s daily television program has always been a repository for misinformation, baseless conspiracy theories, and End Times fearmongering, his show has gotten decidedly stranger in recent days.

Earlier this week, Bakker interviewed right-wing conspiracy theorist Steve Quayle, who spent two programs warning about aliens, demons, trans-dimensional beings, and “diseases that are designed to initiate cannibalism in human beings” and turn them into literal zombies. On the heels of those programs, Bakker interviewed End Times conspiracy theorist Tom Horn, who warned that an asteroid will strike the Earth in 2029, unleashing an alien virus that will give rise to the Antichrist.

On Thursday’s program, Horn discussed his recent book, “The Wormwood Prophecy,” which claims that the government is covering up the fact that an asteroid known as Apophis will strike the Earth in 2029. While scientists say that Apophis will simply pass by our planet in 2029, Horn insists that it will actually strike the Earth and fulfill the prophecy in Revelation 8: “The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.”

“I believe Apophis is the asteroid that is talked about in the book of Revelation, chapter eight,” Horn said. “It is what is called ‘Wormwood’ in the Bible.”

Hundreds of Transgender Prisoners Request Transfer To Women’s Prison Under New California Law

(Breitbart) Two-hundred sixty-one California state prisoners have requested transfers to facilities that house the opposite gender since a new law went into effect on Jan. 1 — and 255 of them have requested to move from a male to a female corrections facility.

The law, SB 132, provides that a prisoner who self-identifies who is “transgender, nonbinary, or intersex” must be “addressed in a manner consistent with the incarcerated individual’s gender identity,” and be “housed at a correctional facility designated for men or women based on the individual’s preference.” The law applies “regardless of anatomy.” Governor Gavin Newsom signed the law last September, declaring on that occasion that “our march toward equality takes an additional step forward.”

The Los Angeles Times reported Monday that while only a few transfers have been approved thus far, none has been rejected

So far, the prison system has transferred four inmates to the Chowchilla women’s prison, approved 21 gender-based housing requests and denied none. Of the 261 requests, all but six asked to be housed at a women’s facility.

…Some prisoners are also concerned that inmates are making false claims about their gender identity in order to transfer to women’s prisons and say staffers have told them that this has slowed the process.

The Times adds that several inmates are thought to have applied “under false pretenses” and some female prisoners are afraid…
