Days after the Anglican Church elected pro-choice, pro-LBGTQ feminist Sarah Mullally to be the next Archbishop of Canterbury, a new controversy is brewing after church officials decked out te the famed Canterbury Cathedral in graffiti, leading one commenter to describe it as looking like an “underground car park,” according to The Times.

The graffiti is part of an art installation set to open on October 17 and running for three months. Rather than real spray paint, the artists have applied decals to the walls, staircases, and pillars, and include questions such as “Are you there?”, “Where does love come from?”, “God, what happens when we die?” and “Why did you create hate when love is by far more powerful?”
The Cathedral is a world heritage site and was founded 1400 years ago, making it one of the most famous Christian structures in the world. After several people complained about it before its launch, Anglican officials acknowledged:
“[It] has split public opinion ahead of its official launch, with visitors reporting visceral reactions to the bold graffiti-style graphics and thought-provoking questions displayed on the ancient walls. While many have reported their delight and intrigue, others have been discomforted by encountering the artworks.”
Despite the pushback, the Rev David Monteith, Dean of Canterbury, praised the project, saying:
“There is a rawness which is magnified by the graffiti style which is disruptive. There is also an authenticity in what is said because it is unfiltered and not tidied up or sanitised. Above all, this graffiti makes me wonder why I am not always able to be as candid, not least in my prayers.
This exhibition intentionally builds bridges between cultures, styles and genres and in particular allows us to receive the gifts of younger people who have much to say and from whom we need to hear much.”

Graffiti isn’t “art.” And what they did to the cathedral is, in my opinion, blasphemous.
When you can’t distinguish what the criminals do from what the leaders do, they’re all criminals.
“Why do we flourish when we relenquish ourselves to the world?”
Hmmm. So they are just gonna come out as open Satanists now, eh.
This shows why women should not be leaders also. Women all thibk like middle school teachers. “You know what’s hip? Bad unreadable fonts! in garrish colors! that look like graffiti from brown invaders and African gangs that murder White people! Lets put that all over our church!” The men should forcible put themselves in charge again by taking the cathedral and holding it, preventing the arch-lesbian from entering and dealing with her by whatever means they see fit, and then marching on the royal palace and dealing with the fetid pussy of a king who allowed this nonsense too. But alas, all the real men in Britain were sacrificed in the Holocause of WW2 to put the filthy Jews in charge of the world!
Actually it says “Blossom” and its possible it says “wound” rather than “world” but the point about the bad unreadable font is well put!
Let the whamen fake bishop be fired. Let the Unregenarate David Monteith, Dean of Heresy, be fired. Amen.
I can’t care anymore. It will be a mosque within 30 years, anyway.
