Prominent Worship Leader Sean Feucht Continues to Be Canceled Across Canada After City of Abbotsford Denies Permit

Prominent Worship leader Sean Feucht continues to have his concert venues canceled across Canada, with the city of Abbotsford, BC, the latest to pull his permit in what has become a chilling suppression of free speech and ideological tyranny.

Feucht has been touring Canada with his “Let Us Worship” tour, encountering significant opposition, including multiple venue cancellations, protests by Antifa, smoke bombs thrown during a worship service, and calls from politicians to cancel his events.

Feucht was scheduled to perform at Mill Lake Park on August 24, but Abbotsford denied the permit, citing “safety concerns” due to potential protests and counter-protests. The city said in a statement:

“Given the recent publicity surrounding the proposed event, the city believes that the event could potentially attract significant numbers of protesters and counter-protesters in addition to attendees.

These factors, among others, make the community safety considerations of the proposed event extremely difficult to mitigate, and the city found that no permit conditions could adequately address the potential risks to the public.”

Put another way, they’re cowards looking for an excuse to shut things down, because they wouldn’t do this with any other event and they know it.

Langley-Abbotsford MLA Harman Bhangu thinks so as well. He described the move as “ideological censorship” in a statement on X.

For his part, Feucht is looking for another venue, and has indicated he will be taking legal actions against the cities and venues that canceled his concert, which we encourage him to do.
