A blue-checked X account purporting to be Christian musician Forrest Frank’s official social media handle has been exposed as fake after it posted in support of Trump, forcing it to rebrand and come clean.
The account, which has 40,000 followers and whose posts routinely get thousands of views, typically posted benign comments sharing Bible verses and a theological snippet, along with the same videos and pictures that appeared on Frank’s other social media sites.

Everything about the account looked legitimate, so there was little reason to question.

It was only when the account posted that President Trump was the fulfillment of the gospel that people took notice.

Both Church Leaders and Jubilee Cast, among others, fell for the scheme and reported on the account (and for the former, a follow up post explaining their error)

Further investigation, however, revealed that Frank has nearly every major social media account except for X, and the account itself is based in Africa.

Following the exposure, the account rebranded itself to avoid being taken down and possibly losing a monetization source.

They later offered up a non-apology apology.

We pointed out that the purpose of this account has always been to intentionally LIE and DECEIVE people into thinking they were the real Forrest Frank, and that the post takes no accountability for that at all.
