A marketing executive at a Christian charity who was arrested in 2025 after police received multiple tips that her newest book contains graphic depictions of pedophilia, has been found guilty of possessing, producing and disseminating child abuse material.
When Lauren Tesolin-Mastrosa, 33, wasn’t working at BaptistCare, a “leading not-for-profit Christian-based care organization” that cares for elderly people in NSW, (she has since been fired) she was moonlighting as an erotic author writing smut under the pen name ‘Tori Woods.’
Things blew up for her after readers gained access to advance copies of her latest book, Daddy’s Little Toy, which is a *very loose* retelling of the Cinderella story, and were horrified at the content. According to Stuff media:
The book centres on Lucy, an 18-year-old woman who roleplays as a toddler with Arthur, her father’s older best friend.
Although the protagonist is repeatedly described as 18, the court found she was portrayed as a young child during sexual scenes through her language, behaviour and physical descriptions.
…Lucy is depicted having tantrums, needing to be bathed, wearing nappies, playing with toys and using childlike phrases such as “wee wee” during sexual encounters.
Not one to be fooled by the authors attempts at plausible deniability, Judge Bree Chisholm, who read the entire book, said the novel “sexually objectifies children” and that “the reader is left with a description that creates the visual image in one’s mind of an adult male engaging in sexual activity with a young child.”
Her sentence hearing is on April 28, where if given the maximum sentence, could be punished with up to 14 years in prison.
