Update.
According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of South Carolina “The indictment alleges that beginning in November 2022, Miller sent unwanted and harassing communications to his estranged wife until her death on April 27, 2024.
The harassing behavior included Miller posting a nude photo of the victim online without her consent, causing tracking devices to be placed on her vehicle, and in one instance, contacting her over 50 times in a single day. (And noting that he contacted her 50 times more than she contacted him)
The indictment also alleges he interfered with her finances and her daily activities and on one occasion damaged her vehicle tires.
Federal investigators interviewed Miller about these allegations and Miller lied in his responses. Miller said he did not damage the victim’s tires, when in fact he purchased a tire deflation device online and sent messages to others regarding the victim’s vehicle.
Miller faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison for cyberstalking and two years in prison for his false statements. He also faces a fine of up to $250,000. His arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2026, in federal court in Florence.”

Embattled Myrtle Beach ‘Pastor’ John Paul-Miller has been indicted by federal authorities of making false statements to investigators and cyberstalking, according to Fits News, which reports:
Details of those charges have yet to be released by federal authorities, although sources familiar with the situation indicated prosecutors in the office of U.S. attorney Bryan Stirling were preparing to publicly announce the indictments this week.
Miller will reportedly not be apprehended by authorities, but will instead be issued a summons for his appearance in federal court on the charges he is facing. A date for Miller’s initial court appearance has not been set, although sources familiar with the docket indicated it would be scheduled “within the next couple (of) weeks.”
The story of John-Paul Miller and his wife, Mica Miller, went viral in May 2024 after we shared a video showing him announcing her death in a strange way following the church service, two weeks after she filed for divorce. At the time, John-Paul preached an entire sermon and then, at the very end, sprung it on the congregation that his wife died last night by killing herself and then told the congregation not to talk about it.
Hours after his wife Mica apparently committed suicide, pastor John-Paul Miller didn't tell his congregation, but instead preached the sunday sermon, yucking it up, cracking jokes and calling himself charming and handsome.

This led to worldwide speculation that he may have been involved in ‘unaliving’ her, but a police investigation concluded that she acted alone.
However, troubling details of their relationship came to light following her death, prompting the belief that he took advantage of her frail mental health and drove her to suicide, including by allegedly posting nude pictures of her on a Facebook group and tracking her vehicle.
Since then, he’s been separately accused of sexual abuse of a minor by two women who have filed lawsuits against him, along with having his home raided by the FBI in November.
Speculation about John-Paul Miller’s affair emerged when he was spotted laughing and having drinks alone with parishioner Suzie Skinner four days after Mica’s death. Skinner’s own husband allegedly committed suicide a few years earlier after discovering his wife having an affair with Paul-Miller, in a case that is still open by the FBI.
Following the death of Mica, Alison Williams, John-Paul’s first ex-wife, filed for sole custody of the children, citing in part the affair he had with Suzie in 2021 that she confronted both of them about and that she said was an open secret, causing embarrassment to their children.
Williams divorced Miller in 2015 after discovering he had been having an affair with Mica Miller, who joined his church in her teens, and who he married in 2018.
In an April 2025 interview with Crime and Cask, John-Paul Miller confirmed that he was now dating Suzie Skinner but insisted they didn’t start their relationship until January 2025.
This telling of events conflicts with Suzie’s own testimony in one of Miller’s sexual assault cases, however, where Skinner admitted she’d had an adulterous affair with him.
This past summer, John-Paul Miller and Suzie Skinner got married.

I’ve begun to better understand why Paul told Timothy to take a little wine for his stomach, and what they were up against in those days. Because these days it’s about all I can do to hold back the vomit.
“7 and if He rescued Lot, a righteous man distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if all this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 Such punishment is specially reserved for those who indulge the corrupt desires of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and self-willed, they are unafraid … ” – 2 Peter 2
Too many “churches” are led by such men who despise authority, who do not submit to being held accountable, and do not hold others accountable. It’s all “feel good” fake Christianity, that results in a house full of wolves, with not a sheep in sight. A false gospel where the problem is deemed calling out the sin, rather than the sin itself. No conscience. No conviction. No humility before the Lord. No fear of the Lord. No repentance. Just essentially a banner over the front door that says “sin is good”. All on the broad path that leads to destruction.
Had this man been held accountable and rightly kicked out of the ministry, by the standards set forth in God’s word, there wouldn’t now be a trail of death and destruction behind him.
I don’t see very many real churches these days. All I see are cults and covens. Everywhere I look. All fallen away and apostate. Even within the more “conservative” denominations like the SBC.
It truly does torment the soul. There are no words to describe the disgust.
Just as it was then, the church is now overrun by, and full of, pharisees. Men who when they do hold others accountable, it’s not by the commandments of God, but rather the “commandments of men”, yet refuse to themselves be held accountable to the commandments of God. Men in friendship with the world, at enmity with God. Who killed the ones who did not suppress the truth, and courageously held them accountable. John the Baptist who’s head was delivered on a platter. Jesus who was crucified. The Apostles, all but one of which were killed.
“Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known. 3 What you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the housetops.”
God bless you all at this website, and others, who hold these pharisees accountable. Who understand that it is sinful not to do so, just as much as it is sinful to refuse to be held accountable. One day you will hear “well done, good and faithful servant”. The truth cannot be suppressed forever. The cowards and faithless will be cast out (Rev 21:8), because in their wicked hearts, they call God a liar …
We’ve got to respect due process, which God instituted in Deut. 19. If there aren’t two or three witnesses to murder, and diligent inquiry has been done, then as long as no other evidence surfaces, we have to respect their conclusion that she killed herself. And we also have to understand that, even in that case, it was to a significant degree, the consequence of her adultery. Her suicide would be more similar to that of Judas. But in the case of others, those who are truly born again, who do not continue in sin, but who suffer as a result of the wickedness, I say, follow the example of John the Baptist, Jesus and the Apostles … make them have to kill you … don’t do it for them. The Lord expects us and wants us to call their bluff. Bring things to a decision point. That’s how the chaff is separated from the wheat, when we do what He tells us to do.
“For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.”
There’s only one group I care about being a part of. And that’s the one that will hear “well done …”
Remember, even when we lose, the Lord wins. He wins regardless. And that’s why we’re here. That’s why He hasn’t yet returned. Because He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance …
Make them have to kill you. Don’t do it for them. Speak the truth of God’s word, and hold them accountable, right in their face. Resist the devil, and he will flee …
Most churches have been taken over by satan. Of course, that would be his first choice of destruction.
Yeah there was no way they were going to let him off the hook. He’ll probably do 3-5 years.
