Prominent False Prophet Buries Mother in Spinning $100K Gold-Plated Coffin

A prominent and controversial prosperity preacher has buried his mother in a spinning gold coffin worth an estimated $100,000, drawing criticism for the ostentatious display of wealth and excess.

Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is the false prophet, rank heretic, and obscenely carnal founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Nigeria. We last wrote about him after he claimed that he had acquired ‘heavenly master keys’ which are used to unlock prosperity and breakthroughs in people’s lives, selling these keys for $240—which is about a month’s salary for many people in the country.

His mother, Asetu Fufeyin, who passed away in May 2025 at the age of 104 was only buried earlier this month, last to rest in a spinning gold- plated coffin he claims is worth over $100,000.

Notably, Fufeyin posted a live street of the ‘Last burial rite’ of his mother, featuring immodest women repeatedly twerking on stage while money was being thrown at them.
