Benny and Suzanne Hinn have finalized their divorce from each other for a second time, bringing an end to a nearly 50 year marriage.
Hinn and his wife were first married in 1979, but she filed for divorce from him in 2010, after they’d been separated for years. Regarding this marriage, Hinn revealed things got so bad that they “could no longer exist in the same house.”
He later admitted, “I was so busy in the ministry, I was so caught up with the ministry, I forgot about my family,” That’s probably what broke the whole thing up.”
Though the divorce was finalized, the couple rekindled their romance and gave it another go. They remarried three years later, with Hinn unsurprisingly selling DVDs of the big event at $25 a piece.
Now, however, it’s come to an end again.
Benny Hinn’s attorney, Damon Chase, told The Christian Post that the couple still loves each others and prays for each other, but that they have personal reasons for splitting.
Benny Hinn and Suzanne Hinn still love each other with a deep, profound soulmate type of love, and they always have for years and years and years. They just got divorced. It was personal feelings. It was something personal to them, but they did what they felt was right. They’re still very much in each other’s lives. And will always be in each other’s lives.
As you can see from reviewing the file, it was extremely amicable. They both will always be in each other’s lives, and like, always, they’re very, very close. They love each other a lot, both of them. And that was clear all through [the process]. This was not like some contentious divorce or anything like that.”
