16 Small Churches Plead With Colorado Megachurches For Help Against Radical Trans Bill, To Dismaying Results

Over a dozen small to midsize churches in Colorado have joined forces and reached out to some of the largest and most influential churches in the state, asking them to help them in their efforts to defeat a barrage of radical legislation that is threatening to tear families apart and plunge their state into darkness, with dismaying results.

Chris Goble, the Lead Pastor of Ridgeline Community Church in Castle Rock, CO. He recently shared on X “There are about 15 of us Pastors of smaller churches here in Colorado doing all we can w/ what we have to fight HB 1312. But we need reinforcements. We wrote a joint letter to the largest churches in CO 4 days ago, but none have engaged. Can u help share?

The primary object of their ire is House Bill 25-1312, known as the Kelly Loving Act, which recently passed the House and proposes sweeping legislation to radically change the way all citizens interact with and relate to trans people, including teachers with students and parents with their own children.

Erin Lee @Erin4Parents, the Executive Director of Protect Kids Colorado, offers a succinct summary of what the bill entails:

The letter (posted in its entirety below) is directed to “The Pastors, Executive Teams, and Elders of the Largest Evangelical Churches in Colorado” and observes that “our state has been steadily undermined by liberal ideologies that erode our freedoms, threaten our families’ livelihoods, and reject the truth of God’s Word.”

Listing several pieces of legislation that Democrat legislators have proposed, the pastors point out that when it comes to these bills and the appetite of these megachurches to join the fray and throw their considerable resources and people behind stopping these projects, “many of you have chosen silence or neutrality to preserve unity.” They write:

We, the undersigned, stand resolute, like Nehemiah against Sanballat (Nehemiah 4:14) or Elijah against the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:21). Our conviction is unwavering, but your influence is unmatched. You lead Colorado’s largest Bible-believing churches, guiding thousands along the Front Range. We call you now to a clear and urgent task: Join us and others to publicly denounce these bills, rally your congregations to oppose them, and lead a united stand before the Colorado Senate acts. As 1 Timothy 4:12 urges, “Set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

Some of the ways they can do this include:

Prioritize posts about this issue in all of your messaging. A social media video of yourself imploring your people is preferential, especially including a similar call to action for your people. Let your voice echo Ezekiel 33:6, where the watchman who fails to sound the alarm bears the blood of the fallen.

Preach about it. Faithfully and boldly apply the powerful truth of God’s Word to this issue, providing leadership to a confused and frustrated people. Clarity is a love language, and your voice from the pulpit is needed now. As 2 Timothy 4:2 commands, “Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.”

Petition our representatives. Immediately contact your local area representatives in the Colorado Senate, and make yours and your people’s voices heard on behalf of truth and sanity.

Push your people to do the same. Proverbs 31:8-9 calls us to “open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute… defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

While the group did not list which churches they have contacted, Colorado has 32 megachurches in the state, including six with a weekly attendance of over 5000. These include:

  • Faith Bible Chapel (Arvada). Non-denominational. 5000 members.
  • Woodmen Valley Chapel (Colorado Springs) Non-denominational. 5500 members.
  • Timberline Church (Fort Collins) Assemblies of God. 6200 members.
  • Cherry Hills Community Church (Highlands Ranch) Evangelical Presbyterian Church. 6300 members.
  • New Life Church (Colorado Springs) Non-denominational. 15,000 members at their main campus.
  • Flatirons Community Church (Lafayette) Non-denominational. 20,000 members.

We have reached out to all of them for comment and will update the story if we hear back from them.

Full Statement:

The names below are the faithful pastors of several small to medium-sized churches throughout Colorado, doing the best we can with the limited resources God has blessed us with. But while we fight to be faithful, we recognize the dire need for reinforcements.

So, on the evening of Monday, 4/7/25, we wrote and then sent this letter to the Pastors and Elders of the largest churches and faith organizations in Colorado, calling them to action and bring their sizable resources and platforms to bear for the sake of God’s Truth and His people. As of the evening of 4/9/25, only one has responded and none have taken any action.

We share this publicly now — without their specific names or churches — not to shame, but to encourage: Their people to exhort their leaders to lead. Now is the time. Here is the text of our plea to our peers:

To: The Pastors, Executive Teams, and Elders of the Largest Evangelical Churches in Colorado,

For years, our state has been steadily undermined by liberal ideologies that erode our freedoms, threaten our families’ livelihoods, and reject the truth of God’s Word. As Psalm 11:3 warns, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” We recognize that faithful people may differ on these issues, and many of you have chosen silence or neutrality to preserve unity. That time is over.

A barrage of legislation—House Bill 25-1312, Senate Bill 183, House Bill 1309, and Senate Bill 129—marks a brazen assault on our God-given rights and biblical values. HB 25-1312 redefines misgendering as child abuse and discrimination, stripping parents of their authority (Ephesians 6:4) and exposing businesses, schools, and even churches to legal peril. SB 183 forces taxpayers to fund abortions, defying the sanctity of life knit together in the womb (Psalm 139:13). HB 1309 mandates “gender-affirming care” in all health plans, and SB 129 expands access to out-of-state telehealth abortion pills. These bills are a direct attack on the created order—“male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27)—and the sanctity of life.

The cultural tide of gender dysphoria and its aggressive advocates has surged, often because God’s people have remained silent—silenced by fear, pressure, or a misplaced sense of civility. As Isaiah 5:20 declares, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,” yet some of you may still believe neutrality is prudent. We implore you: that path is no longer viable. California and Minnesota have already walked this road with bills mirroring these—California’s AB 3129 and Minnesota’s HF 4206—and the consequences have been disastrous. In California, mandating gender-affirming care and overriding parental consent has driven up healthcare costs, bankrupting small businesses unable to comply and straining an already overburdened system. Families have fled the state, unwilling to surrender their children to state overreach. In Minnesota, similar laws redefining parental roles have sparked legal battles, fractured communities, and left schools in chaos as educators grapple with unfunded mandates and conflicting rights. These states now

reel from economic decline, eroded trust, and a deepening cultural divide—all traceable to the silence of those who knew better. Proverbs 29:25 cautions, “The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” Silence has ensnared us long enough.

The hour demands your voice—bold and unapologetic. Use your platforms to defend parents, protect our institutions, and resist this tide. Silence is no longer neutral; it is surrender. The desire for popularity must yield to principle. HB 25-1312 has passed the House; the Senate could follow soon. The time to act is now—before parents lose their children to state control, before businesses and schools collapse under coercion, before abortion becomes a taxpayer burden we cannot escape. Your people need you to lead in this fight. If not now, when? James 4:17 reminds us, “Whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”

Therefore, we call you to join us in the following proactive and prophetic actions:

● Prioritize posts about this issue in all of your messaging. A social media video of yourself imploring your people is preferential, especially including a similar call to action for your people. Let your voice echo Ezekiel 33:6, where the watchman who fails to sound the alarm bears the blood of the fallen.

● Preach about it.

● Petition our representatives. Immediately contact your local area representatives in the Colorado Senate, and make yours and your people’s voices heard on behalf of truth and sanity.

● Push your people to do the same. Proverbs 31:8-9 calls us to “open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute… defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

Edmund Burke warned, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” We appeal to you as men and fellow co-laborers for the Kingdom: Stand, and do something.

To stay silent is to speak; to refrain is to act. Cast aside fear and join us as faithful under shepherds, wielding the rod and staff for our flocks (Psalm 23:4). History—and our Lord—will judge us by what we do next. Matthew 25:40 echoes in our ears: “As you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” Will we stand for the least—the unborn, the confused, the oppressed—or shrink back? Now is the time. If not now, when?

Respectfully, and in Christ alone,

  1. All the “megachurches”, evangelicals and the like, are all corrupted by Zionist Jews and Zionist Jew-corrupted scripture in the likes of the Scofield Bible, among other places.

Christians at one point knew Jews to be their mortal enemies. Now, they’ve all been brainwashed into thinking the people that look down on them as animals are somehow their FRIENDS.

They aren’t. They never have been. It’s time to wake up to this fact.

    1. Your buddy Satan approves your message. Best you get ready for a very HOT place as that’s where your disgusting wretches belong, in hell.

      1. The words of Jews and fools matter not.
        Facts are facts.
Like an imbecile, you talk of Satan, yet when pressed, you couldn’t answer “From where does the ‘Star of David’ originate?”
        Because you are an ignoramus.
You couldn’t point to a Bible verse, a book in scripture, or any actual source.
Yet as someone that has actually READ the Bible (clearly unlike yourself), I know what star IS mentioned in the Bible.
“For you have taken up the tabernacle of Moloch under the STAR of your god, REMPHAN, and I shall carry you beyond Babylon.”

By matter of FACT, the ‘star’ on the flag of the Jews is the STAR OF REMPHAN.
        Other names for REMPHAN include:
        Satan
        Lucifer
Gadreel (as in, the “G” of freemasonry)
        Saturn
        Ra
        Isis
        The Devil
Sol Invictus (SOL as in, “Statue Of Liberty”).

You are either a filthy Jew, or you are an ignorant fool that knows nothing and, knowing nothing, should speak on nothing.

You have no facts…no verses…no scripture…to dispute what I say. Not one word of it will you or CAN you dispute. All you have is foolish taunts and idiotic remarks.

Why don’t you shut your stupid fool mouth, and go read theBible?

      2. If Jews weren’t running Colorado then marijuana would not be legal. California is the Jew land for the porn industry, Colorado Jew land for the marijuana industry, and New York Jew land for usury and stock market manipulation.

      1. Stupid fools and stupid Jews mean nothing. Why don’t you just enlighten us on the history of the Scofield Bible? Don’t you possess the knowledge to explain to all of us how a bankrupt lawyer and failed pastor got the help of the Oxford press to publish his own version of the Bible? Don’t you have a single fact or anecdote to disprove a single thing that I say?

        No?

        Then shut up.

        1. You’re about as nuts as they come. Reading your posts is a psychiatrist’s rubik’s cube. The world’s authority on hatred for the Jews, the Scofield Bible, and deciphering names for the devil. Illogical assumptions, full of arrogance and hatred in your heart. Keep posting – it would be entertaining if it weren’t so sad that your soul is so stained you have to come here hiding behind a keyboard to spew your foulness, get attention and some sort of human response in your lonely life.

          1. And by the way? Making accounts to honor me? (Calling it “mocking” me is even more wonderful, because “And if the world hates you, know that it hated me before you.” You would bless me even further thusly.) Is a very serious sign of ACTUAL psychological issues. Psychosis is, by matter of statistical fact, most prevalent in Ashkenazi Jews, if I remember correctly.

You can’t undo the damage. The people have already gone to research the history for themselves. Nothing you or I say further on the subject will make any difference. They can read for themselves. Your attempt to “damage control” by attempted manipulation of history won’t matter…they will go beyond the “big 5” search engines and they will discover the truth. They are smarter than you thought, and a lot of people woke up to ways of finding information that you don’t control, thanks to CONVID.

I suggest reading everything this nut says, as well. Unlike this Sayanim, who is desperate to cover the truth, I seek only to tell it. Watch what it says closely. Read things like, “how controllers of information manipulate conversations”. You find information on things like “ad hominem”, “moving the goalposts”, “call to emotion”, “attack the messenger”. Study it. Learn its tactics. And most importantly, it never seeks to engage in factual debate.

An axiom of law is the following:
If the facts are on your side, pound on the facts.
If the law is on your side, pound on the law.
And if neither the facts nor the law are on your side,
            Pound on the person.

I love to teach them while you struggle to unteach them. It’s fun to watch you squirm.

          2. “ad hominem”, “moving the goalposts”, “call to emotion”, “attack the messenger”

            You’ve perfectly described yourself
And thereby refuted yourself, since you are just as sinful as “the Jews” you describe, as is plain for all to see

    2. You’re going to be judged according to how you treated Abraham’s descendants and it ain’t going to go well for you… But I guess you forgot that Jesus considers the Jews as His People, not to be confused with the loving Believers of Jesus… The True Christians…

      1. LOL you’re such a liar.
The very words of Jesus himself prove how blatantly wrong you were.
And they answered him, we are Abraham’s chidren. And he said to them, IF YOU WERE ABRAHAM’S CHILDREN, THEN THE WORKS OF ABRAHAM YOU WOULD DO.
And, oh yeah he also said to the PHARISEE JEWS “YOU ARE NOT MY FLOCK.” Gee, Jesus considered the Jews his people, but he says to them “You are NOT MY FLOCK”???? Really?
Notice how it never quotes scripture.

    3. These fools teach that Christians are grafted into Israel rather than that Israel was cut off from Abraham and Gentiles grafted in their place. There was time for the Jews to be grafted back in, but then 70 AD passed and its too late. Branches cut off a tree don’t last forever. Once they’ve dried out they can’t be grafted back in. They dried out in 70 AD. There also can’t be a remnant of a false relifion so beyond 70 AD now Jew can be part of the remnant of Israel. The remnant that was to be saved from Israel per Romans 9 was wxclusicely 1st century.

      1. Point blank, Biblical Israel, who are the seed of Isaac of Abraham, is the white race.
How would one suppose the “Saxons” got their names? Saxons…Isaac’s sons. It’s easy to see the etymology when one looks.
Why would so many great masters (artistically speaking), portray Jesus as being CLEARLY white?
Why would EVERY Christian church from the time there WERE Christian churches, be populated SOLELY by white people?!? Not Arabic people, who are of Ishmael of Abraham, WHITE people.
Plainly knowing how and where “Christianity” spread is EXACTLY how the white race spread, from the Caucus mountains through westernmost India through Russia and everywhere eastward into Europe, having escaped Asyrian and Babylonian bondage (thanks to Iran, actually).

All one has to do is study the migration of white people from the middle east northward and eastward, study the symbols on their tombs, and figure out that the white race IS the Hebrew / Israelite race.

It is not the Jews now.
It was not the Jews in Jesus’ day.
        As he PLAINLY stated.
And it was NEVER the Jews.
The closest the Jews ever got to God was in the garden when their father Lucifer, otherwise known as Satan, Gadreel, Sol Invictus, etc., violated Eve. What is this that thou hast done? Satan seduced me, and I did lay with him.
Makes SO much more sense then, “the serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.” Change a few paleo-Hebrew words and everyone gets the entire story wrong.
Jesus himself even pointed it out in John 8:44. You are of your father THE DEVIL. Jesus wasn’t speaking in metaphors here, Jesus was referring to the ACTUAL bloodline of the Pharisee / Sadducee Jews.

The idea that the “Jews” EVER had a shot at salvation from OUR God is just patently, and demonstrably, using Christ’s own words, false.

You. Are. Not. My. Flock. Is what he said.
You. Are. Not. Of. God. Is what he said.

  2. Megachurches aren’t churches. They’re businesses. And in Colorado, business is good for those who undermine Christ.

    1. They didn’t stand for the helpless unborn, including not even opposing partial birth abortion, so they’re not going to stand against this or any evil.

  3. The Mega church is often time large because they tickle ears and go along to protect their own nest and many are woke. Don’t expect their help , they play for the other team. Elijah and Nehemiah needed only the Lord. These others will have to give account for their willful acts of disobedience.

  4. These are businesses and should be taxed as such. And I am sorry many of you will hate what I am going to say, but I think Billy Graham was one of the first of them, along with Oral Roberts and others. All got rich, including Billy Graham. I thought pastors were to spread the word of God not live high on the hog as they do and did. I believe they should lead comfortable lives but not become rich off their preaching. They appear at disasters and then disappear. Not much work for the millions they take in. Who is accountable for that money and why no taxes??

  5. The proposed bill is designed to protect and advance a fad. It’s as if the Colorado Legislature is proposing to criminalize anyone standing too close to a Hula Hooper to have their fun.

  6. We must not forget our enemy consists of dark demonic spirits who inhabit human beings. They have no influence unless we give it to them. Remember there is nothing new under the sun. The events Yeshua spoke about shortly before he ascended up into heaven are reaching a crescendo. When you see ALL these things increasing in frequency like a women about to birth a baby get ready.
