The Oklahoma Abolition of Abortion Act (SB456) Fails To Pass 2-6
An Oklahoma anti-abortion bill crafted by abolitionists that would have ended baby butchery in the state by providing equal protection of the laws to preborn children, failed by a vote of 2-6 yesterday after pro-life Republicans voted against it. @AbolishAbortOk on X explains:
SB456 got two yes votes, and six no votes. Four of the no votes were Republican legislators, who explicitly went against the will of the OKGOP, the Constitution, and most importantly, God’s Law.
These four men’s political careers must end today.
The highest priority of the government is to protect life, and these men slapped God in the face, by condemning ~7200 more unborn babies to death this year in Oklahoma.
God will not be mocked. His image bearers will not be oppressed without justice.
When someone asks why abortion remains legal in Oklahoma, tell them it is the fault of Brent Howard, Todd Gollihare, Darcy Jech, Paul Rosino, the culture at large that allows men like this to hold positions in government, churches and Christians who have yet to stand up and loudly call for abolition.
If Oklahoma was a faithful state, these men would be church disciplined and dis-fellowshipped from their churches. But at the very least, their hopes of having a future political career in Oklahoma must be dashed to pieces. Their position in government is an honorable position, and we are to honor them for God’s ordaining them to hold it. Yet, they have brought dishonor to their positions, and they must be removed. No peace with child sacrifice. No equivocation. No compromise.
On the flip side, Thank you to Senators Shane Jett and Lisa Standridge for voting YES on SB456, the Abolition of Abortion Act in today’s hearing.
For years Oklahoma has long been considered the most pro-life state in the nation. They have a professing Republican pro-life Governor, a Republican pro-life Lieutenant Governor, a Republican pro-life President Pro Tem of the Senate, and a Republican pro-life majority floor leader. They have supermajorities in the house and senate and the vast majority of these senators campaigned as “pro-life” and vowed to do all they can to “protect life” in Oklahoma.
Despite their advantages, numbers, and power to enact change, politicians in Oklahoma keep on killing abolitionist legislation, under the direction and encouragement from the wishy-washy pro-life movement, which we’ve seen time and time again.

New to voting in Oklahoma. I didn’t know ‘republicans’ controlled all of the gov’t nearly. They clearly aren’t faithful servants of Christ, nor Oklahoma. They obviously feel they can ignore us, but I guarantee you they won’t be able to ignore Christ, once He starts passing judgement. They have dug a very deep hole. I hope they climb out, but how many more children have to die over someone’s convenience? It’s hard to love people like this.
