Voddie Baucham Announces He Is Moving To THIS State to Start THIS New Job

After living overseas in Zambia for the last nine years and then previously announcing he was returning stateside, Voddie Baucham has revealed where he and his family will be moving to after teasing the release for the last several months.

In a post on X, Baucham shared that he will be moving to Florida to help start a newly created Founders Seminary, adding:

Thank you for taking this journey with us. It meant more than you can imagine. In the end, it wasn’t about going to a single location, but the opportunity to multiply my impact through investing in the next generation of pastors that led to this decision. Also, we were very keen to plant our lives in a healthy church.

Tom Ascol and I have fought many battles together. He is one of my best friends and one of the wisest, most humble, and most godly pastors I know. I am honored to link arms with him.

Please pray for us. And please pray for Founders Seminary!

Baucham, a popular conference speaker and teacher and the author of the best-selling book “Fault Lines,” moved to Lusaka, Zambia, in 2015 and became Dean and Senior Lecturer in Applied Theology at Zambia’s African Christian University. He announced his departure this past November.

Notably, Baucham had several major health problems three years ago, including undergoing quadruple bypass surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, where he also raised an astonishing 1.2 million dollars in GoFundMe support for his surgeries and post-op medical care.

  1. He will be attending a “healthy church”. So now not only are there denominational churches, but there are “healthy churches which means there are also unhealthy churches. I suppose “healthy church” means Calvinism. Therefore he is probably attending a Reformed Baptist Healthy Church. These churches produce healthy people like Steve Lawson.

  2. I didn’t notice that “healthy church” part. Hmmm. So he’s saying his previous church was not healthy? Perhaps that’s because he was pastor and teaching the heresy of Calvinism there. Now he wants to plan himself in a “healthy church” and suck the health out of it by preaching Calvinism.
