Abolitionist Pastor Dusty Deevers Wins State Senate Primary!
Abolitionist Pastor Dusty Deevers has won the State Senate District 32 primary election, picking up 37% of the vote compared to the next closest candidate at 30% and ensuring that he and Democrat victor Larry Bush will face off on December 12 to fill the seat vacated by John Michael Montgomery.
Deevers is a Southern Baptist who pastors Grace Community Church of Elgin, OK, and has been active in the SBC by pushing, pulling, and dragging the kicking and screaming denomination into a more faithful position on abortion abolition through his actions at the General Conferences and interactions with SBC president Bart Barber, whose behavior towards Deevers has been abhorrent. Â
He is also the Executive Producer of “A Storm Comes Rolling Down the Plain” and Vice President of Rescue Those.
