PCUSA Pastor Sermon Slams Pro-Lifers+ Rejoices in Her Two Abortions: ‘I felt no guilt, no shame, no sin’

Rebecca Todd Peters is a professor, author, and Presbyterian Church (USA) ‘Pastor.’ She has been “active denominationally and ecumenically for over twenty-five years.” She represents the PCUSA as a member of the Faith and Order Standing Commission of the World Council of Churches.

A lover of all things baby-killing, she also serves on the Clergy Advocacy Board of Planned Parenthood and was recently elected Vice President of the Society of Christian Ethics.

It’s unsurprising then that she’s celebrated and tolerated within her denomination. The PCUSA has denigrated to one massive pen for goats, run by spiritual criminals and hirelings, with barely a sheep to be found anywhere. From Church Fasting from ‘Whiteness’ During Lent to Church Releases ‘Transgendered’ Remix of ‘Be Thou My Vision,’ to Pro-Abortion Pastrix Says Stories of Jonah and Zacchaeus are Proof We Should Subsidize Birth-Control, this pro-LGBTQIA&$#@!, pro-abortion cauldron of wokeness and deviant perversion runs neck in neck with the ELCA in a contest to see which denomination hates Jesus more, and they usually come on top.

In a recent sermon preached to The Community Church of Chapel Hill Unitarian Universalist in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, wearing a pink stole emblazoned with a Planned Parenthood logo, Peters raged against the “talking fetuses, aggressive bumper stickers and saccharine billboards quoting Scripture and invoking God’s wrath” and lamented that pro-life Christians have gained ground in the culture war in the language around abortion so that even unbelievers view it as a bad thing or “difficult choice.”

Arguing that bible verses like Psalms 139 (For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made) have nothing to say about abortion, Peters shares her disgust that Christians try to use it in that way, saying “I refuse to cede the sacredness of Scripture or its interpretation to those who would wield it as a weapon.”

Then, she shockingly concludes:

I, too, feel that I am known by God in these ways, as a woman who has borne two children. I can affirm that I felt something sacred happening in my gestating body during those pregnancies. I can also attest that I felt God’s presence with me as I made the decision to end two pregnancies and I felt no guilt, no shame, no sin.”

  1. Oh, yes she does. Guarantee while she is lying awake at night in the dark all by herself, the guilt comes creeping in. Guarantee when she sees a child that is the same age as the child she slaughtered, she gets a twinge. Guarantee she’s lying. If she isn’t, she is a MONSTER.

  2. ” No guilt, no shame, no sin…” Of course not. This triad response comes from the lizard pit of the reprobate mind. She has no concious left and is obviously inhabited by the enemy. The enemy loves to go to Church and invert the truth through his ecclesiastical Quislings!

  3. This is shocking coming from any woman but from a self-proclaimed ‘pastor’ it’s nothing less than shocking. The Holy Spirit is obviously not with this morally depraved individual.

      1. Post it all in context …

“1 Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God. 3 For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry. 4 With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you; 5 but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead, that though judged in the flesh the way people are, they might live in the spirit the way God does. 7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” – 1 Peter 4:1-8

Verse 1 … “ceased from sin”

“No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.” – 1 John 3:9

        Verse 8 … “one another”

“He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord.” – Prov. 17:15

“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” – Jesus (Matt. 7:20)

Verse 4 … “they malign you” … pretty much describes your trolling
Verse 7 … “be self-controlled and sober-minded” …. pretty much describes the opposite of a troll

      2. She not only continues in sin, she continues in abominable sin by trying to justify wickedness.

She is therefore not a part of “one another”, and 1 Peter 4:8 does not apply to her …

For one thing, We do not have the authority to forgive sins against the Lord
For another, you cannot forgive someone for sinning against someone else … she sinned against the unborn children, who couldn’t forgive her for sinning against them … because they’re DEAD

        1. There are two different commenters maned Wes here. I wrote the first one and I agree with you. I must change my name here, lol

          1. I’m fairly certain it’s the troll, or one of her pals. They’ve tried to use the same verse here before. You know how some people are. They have a handful of scriptures on the ready, pulled out of context, and flipped upside down, for no other reason than to try to pervert the grace of God into a license to sin.

          2. I should’ve said something about it. I knew it wasn’t you, but neglected to make note of it.

          3. If I didn’t think it was likely her again, I wouldn’t have posted. I said that I would quit posting if she quit trolling, and I’ll keep my word on that.

      3. A part of repentance is turning away from sin …

Scripture is consistently clear, the Lord does not forgive without repentance …

Likewise, we ourselves are not required to forgive without repentance, and often shouldn’t …

“3 Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him,” – Jesus (Luke 17:3)

She’s got to repent and turn from her wickedness …

      4. And 1 Peter 4, reiterating that truly born again Christians are not controlled by the flesh, somewhat parallels with Romans 1

When the flesh is stronger than the mind, it’s a sign of a reprobate (weak, non-functioning) mind …

      5. I don’t know what’s wrong with some people yanking scripture out of context, trying to chastise Christians for rebuking sin, as God’s word specifically tells us to do … even the Great Commission … “teaching them to obey my commandments”

If this were 1942, and the subject were adolf hitler, would you yank that scripture out of context, and try to chastise Christians for not saying to him “thy sins are forgiven” ???

We don’t have the authority to do that, nor should we cover and overlook such sin, even if we did.

Abortion is the cold-blooded murder of a child.

But at least you recognize that it is indeed sin …

      6. It’s not only cold-blooded murder, it’s most often many other sins as well … such as faithlessness and cowardice … greed … envy … pride … selfishness … and many more …

      7. And in the case of the fake “pastor” here … if she’s telling the truth about knowing the unborn child is a child and that pregnancy is sacred, but also has no remorse at all for murdering two of her own such children, then she could very well be a sociopath … possibly even possessed …

Susan is absolutely correct … if she is telling the truth, then she’s a monster.

      8. And I guess since I picked hitler as an example, rather than stalin, mao, pol pot, or some other darwinist, science-worshiping, collectivists, I might as well go ahead and respond to the usual stock retorts by saying, re-read the scriptures posted above …

      9. This also needs to be said, and it’s one reason I hate the social sciences and darwinism, I am not denigrating anyone and everyone who is a diagnosed sociopath, or has any other mental illness … I’m not a darwinist … I’m not saying anybody has inferior genes or any such nonsense … wicked is as wicked does … I don’t care how “sane” you may or may not be, if you don’t sin, you don’t sin …

        I shouldn’t have even used the term … “monster” would’ve sufficed …

  4. Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

    Isaiah 5:20

  5. 1 Timothy 4:1-2

Some Will Depart from the Faith

4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 2 through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared,
