Politifact Claims Planned Parenthood Didn’t Help Sex Traffickers in Their Crimes Because…. Planned Parenthood Said So
There are few organizations as patently stupid and dishonest as Politifact, the left-wing farce of supposed fairness that puts its thumb on the scale every chance it gets. This chicanery was on full display last week after they fact-checked a claim about a decade-old undercover videos of Lila Rose and the Live Action crew.
Lila Grace wrote on Instagram, “Planned Parenthood must be shut down. Not only do they aid and abet sex traffickers, but they also traffic and sell the body parts and organs of children.”
Rose pointed to a series of undercover videos they hatched over a decade ago, featuring actors posing as pimp and underage prostitute showing up at multiple Planned Parenthood locations seeking to get an abortion, thereby concealing and continuing the sex ring.
Politifact fact-checked her claim false, with author Sara Swann explaining in part her basis for her decision:
“Planned Parenthood…said the Live Action videos were “heavily doctored, often merging together disparate pieces of conversation to create false impressions and remove critical context.”

Swann’s “fact check” did include the fact that Planned Parenthood fired an employee after a 2011 video showed the New Jersey staffer “advising undercover Live Action actors on how an underage prostitute could continue to work after having an abortion.”
What the article did not mention is how the staffer advised an undercover investigator posing as a pimp that he could keep sex trafficking a girl immediately post-abortion as long as the rape was “waist up.”
However, because “the clinic’s staff notified law enforcement of an alleged sex trafficking ring following this incident, and Planned Parenthood fired the employee shortly after the video was released,” that makes Live Action’s claims somehow untrue, according to PolitiFact.
