Podcast: Andy Stanley and the Gayvangelicals, R.C. Sproul, Damar Hamlin Conspiracies, and is Slavery Reeeeeeally Objectively Wrong

On this episode of Protestia Tonight for January 24th, 2023, David demonstrates why Andy Stanley is the perfect mascot for the “Bible Shreddin'” segment of the show, and allows the late, great R.C. Sproul to describe the error in the Roman Catholic doctrine of concupiscence. In the PT VIP portion, David talks about the Damar Hamlin conspiracy and the “vax,” and reminds everyone that if Jonathan Merritt supports what you’ve said, you’re almost 100% guaranteed to be wrong.

On Bible Bashed, Tim and Harrison talk about slavery and question the insistence that it’s always morally wrong in light of the Bible providing a robust code for how the Israelites were supposed to handle their own slaves. If the Bible does not out right condemn slavery, and even regulates slavery, should Christians condemn all forms of slavery as wrong? Are there certain forms of slavery that God does still view as immoral? How does our stance on this subject effect our ability to defend the inerrancy of Scripture?
