YouTube Labels John MacArthur’s Recent Sermon as ‘Hate Speech’

YouTube, ever the bastion of censorship and dutiful soldier in the war of BigTech against free speech, labeled a recent sermon by Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Chuch as ‘hate speech’, on account of him preaching that God made us ‘Male and Female.’

Three weeks ago, Pastor MacArthur requested that pastors around the globe join him in preaching on the biblical understanding of human sexuality, in solidarity with Canadian pastors who were about to be tested after their insane government passed a law with the support of all parties declaring that any efforts to counsel someone or convert someone from homosexual to heterosexual was a crime punishable with up to 5 years in prison.

Without exaggeration, if a congregant tells a pastor they have sinful homosexual thoughts, and seek prayer and counseling for them to have them quelled and brought under the blood of Christ, that is worthy of fines, arrest, and even jail if discovered and brought to the authorities.

At least 4000 pastors pledged to preach in unity that day, with MacArthur contributing content like this:

“Simply stated. There is no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY, that’s it. God made man male and female. That is determined genetically, that is physiology, that is science, that is reality.

This notion that you are something other than your biology is a cultural construct intended as an assault on God…. The only way you can address it, honestly, is to say, ‘God made you and God made you exactly the way He wanted you to be. You are not only fighting God in His physical creation, you are fighting God in His sovereignty. You are fighting God in His spiritual relationship to you. This is a war on God.’

…On the one hand, the reality of that lie and deception is so damaging, so destructive, so isolating, so corrupting that it needs to be confronted, but on the other hand, that confrontation can’t exaggerate what already exists, which is a sense of feeling isolated in relationships,”

According to Todd Starnes, after uploading a video clip of MacArthur preaching, YouTube took down the video and told him the pastor’s sermon was hate speech, explaining:

“Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our hate speech policy,” YouTube wrote to me. “We’ve removed the following content from YouTube: ‘There is no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY. That’s it. – Pastor John MacArthur.’”

In other words, YouTube affirmed the Canadian law by banning any opposition to transgenderism on their platform.

And it won’t be very long before the sex and gender revolutionaries target the source of our beliefs – the Holy Bible. I foresee a day in American history where Bibles could be confiscated or rewritten to affirm the LGBTQIA lifestyle.”

    1. I am creating an honest wage from home 18K Dollars/week , that is wonderful, below a year gone i used to be unemployed during an atrocious economy. I convey God on a daily basis. I used to be endowed with these directions and currently it’s my duty to pay it forward and share it with everybody. Here is where I started………. http://moneystar33.blogspot.com/

    1. Oh, did your little bitty feelings get hurt? GOOD. He is preaching God’s Word. Period. Johnny, please seek out help. You sadly need it.

    2. …and you’re a domestic dumbass. He wins 🙂
*insert tiny flags here denoting I am not a godless sodomite nor mentally ill*

  1. When they start labeling the Bible as hate speech, it’s long past time for Christians to dump YouTube. And Christians working for YouTube or Google, need to rise up from their desk and walk out the door. I’ve been there and done that myself, as a former software engineer. You’ll be better off knowing you did the right thing, and knowing you are on good terms with your Maker. No amount of money is worth having that on your conscience. Dump them.

    1. When the Roman soldiers asked John the Baptist what they should do, he didn’t tell them they needed to immediately leave the Roman military. The organization they worked for was steeped in idolatry and oppression. According to you, these soldiers should have left, but that’s not the counsel John gave them. Unless a person is responsible for developing the policies, it does not logically or morally follow that they should be held responsible for being part of an organization that enacts those policies. If so, no Christian could serve in government roles. No Christian could work for any company that ever had any unbiblical policy in place.

      1. By that logic, a Christian could justify working for any organization anywhere. Would you work for the church of Satan? Would you work for Planned Parenthood? Would you have worked for the Nazis? Would you have worked for the Soviets?

Should Christians have no limits at all as it relates to association with and support of any persons, organizations or groups, or is it just that an organization censoring the Bible and calling it hate speech is not a reasonable limit in your opinion?

        1. I am not a scholar, nor am I telling anyone what to do – though I believe strongly what should be done and needs to be done, and I know I’m not alone in that opinion. If you know the scriptures, you also know there are many instances when we are basically told “from such turn away” – get away from them, don’t support them, have nothing to do with them – get out of Sodom and do not look back. I believe we should pray and seriously consider whether or not we should be supporting such an organization, through work or by any other means. Obviously, in my opinion, Google has crossed that line.

One thing is certain. We will all answer to our Maker one day. And His judgement will be final. I wouldn’t want to try to explain my way out of supporting an organization that believes His Word is hate speech – that believes He is a hateful bigot – that is engaging in a direct assault on God and His Word – when I’m kneeling there before Him, who has defined what is hate and what is love, when his ruling on that day is the only ruling that will ever matter. I don’t see that going over very well. At some point it becomes a matter of serving mammon, and/or serving oneself.

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe that I am in this case. I know my conscience would not allow me to work there, personally. Of that I’m certain. I’m also certain I wouldn’t want my children to see me compromising in such a manner.

  2. Sodom and Gomorrah. God destroyed them by fire, The wrath of God rests upon such. And God is going to send fire upon them again in hell for all eternity, unless He grants them repentance. And it will be for the glory of His holy name. Scripture tells us of these truths. So they can label God’s truths as “hate speech” and they can censor the voices of true believers speaking His truth, but they will fail in their attempts to cancel out the powerful word of God, which they fervently despise. God mocks them and laughs at them for He sees their day is coming. God may permit them to succeed briefly, but He has already determined its expiration date and then destruction falls. Praise the Lord its temporary and sin will be put away forevermore!

  3. Shouldn’t we all just ignore “Johnny” who obviously gets his jollies from his mom’s basement just to troll us for the reactions he gets? What else does he have to do, except wait to be fed and probably bathed? You don’t suppose it’s really Servus Christy” in disguise, do you?

  4. Actually, MacArthur‘s sermon, and others like it from other pastors, should be considered “love” speech because the homosexual lifestyle, especially the male version of it, often helps to cause the early death of the participants.

Back in the 80s, I recall that the average homosexual man’s lifespan would only be mid-40s to early 50s. It’s probably longer than that now because of the medications, but it’s still nowhere near as long as the average heterosexual man.

The other thing is that no life comes out of such unions and so you have to understand that this is an important part of the depopulation agenda that those on the left like to push because they essentially hate humanity, except for the elites which they incorrectly think they are part of until the real power brokers have them lined up against a wall, of course.

Didn’t I read somewhere that there’s “nothing new under the sun.”
