Dodgers Pitcher Condemns Team For Honoring Drag Queen Nuns ‘God Cannot be Mocked’
Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen has released a statement about his baseball team’s decision to honor the ‘Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’ a controversial and brazenly blasphemous drag queen troup.
The drag nuns were initially invited to participate in the Dodger’s 10th annual Pride Night scheduled for June 16 and receive a “community hero award.” They were disinvited amid pressure from Christian groups, then reinvited following backlash from LGTBQ radicals. The group is known for its garish barb and blasphemous displays and performances, occasionally featuring a crucified Jesus engaged in sex acts.
I am disappointed to see the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence honored as heroes at Dodger Stadium. Many of their performances are blasphemous, and their work only displays hate and mockery of Catholics and the Christian faith…This group openly mocks Jesus Christ, the cornerstone of my faith, and I want to make it clear that I do not agree with nor support the decision of the Dodgers to ‘honor’ the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.”
Treinen, who signed a 3-year, $24 million deal with the Dodgers in 2021, went on to share the bible Joshua 24:15, seemingly indicating that he is willing to accept and blowback any consequences he may receive.
This response from Treinen is a far cry from that of his rival MLB player and professing Christian Anthony Bass, who just yesterday was faced with a decision to honor Christ and his word, and instead folded like a cheap accordian.

Blake Treinen is a stud relief pitcher. He just put his career at serious risk by standing for his faith, speaking the truth and not denying Christ before men. It’s easy to point at professing Christian athletes and bad mouth them for not taking more action. Truth is, many Christians would have already lost their jobs and most of their friends if they held themselves to the biblical standard. Take note “so called Christians”, and follow Blake as he follows Christ.
