Presbyterian Church USA Adds ‘Non-Binary/ Genderqueer’ Category to Official Church Statistics
The Presbyterian Church (USA) is so woke and so filled with confused and lost souls that they’re decided to add “nonbinary/genderqueer” as a category on their annual reports, which is used to assesses the demographics of congregants attending their churches catacombs of Jesus-despisers.
Functionally one of the most heretical and demonic denominations in America, it has denigrated to basically one massive pen for goats, run by spiritual criminals and hirelings, with barely a sheep to be found anywhere. In an announcement, they explain that Office of the General Assembly ,tasked with gathering “statistical information from presbyteries across the country and provides a comprehensive breakdown on church membership, ethnicity and age distribution” is changing or dropping some of the questions asked of churches in an effort to provide a more accurate view of membership across the denomination. Major changes include:
- No longer collecting Christian education numbers
- Adding a category for 17-/18-year-old members
- Adding a nonbinary/genderqueer category
- Removing definitions from the racial/ethnic sections per General Assembly action
- Making changes to the finance section per General Assembly action.
Kris Valerius, manager of denominational roles and statistics, explains further:
We’ve always asked how many female members there are in the church. We’re now asking how many men, women and nonbinary/genderqueer members there are. We’ve never asked that question so we don’t know how many people will fill it out. If we want to be inclusive, then we have to start asking because you should be aware of who’s a part of your church.”
In the last decade, the PCUSA has lost nearly half their active members and closed a fifth of their churches dropping from 1.9 million people and 10,400 churches in 2012, to 1.05 million people and 8,800 congregations.
