Pastor Kicks Worship Team Off Stage For ‘Boring Him To Death’

A controversial pastor in UK is under fire after stopping his worship team-mid song and telling them to stop playing because they were ‘boring him to death.’
Pastor’ Tobi Adegboyega is a prosperity preacher based in London. The founder of Nxtion Family (Formerly Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, they rebranded last year), he purposefully meets in high-end locations and he’s been accused of using extreme coercion to get his congregants, the majority which are under the age of 30, to donate to his ministry. Prior efforts included telling them to donate blood for cash and taking out loans against their houses to give to his ministry, openly telling his congregants “I don’t care what you guys have to do to raise your seed – you’re going to raise it.”
In fact, he has suggested that giving over $1000 a month per person should be the norm. We featured him last year after he was seen wearing a $329,000 Richard Mille watch and a $12,000 Louis Vutton jacket.
During his Sunday service on August 14, 2022, he stopped the band who were half-way through playing a version of Cory Asbury’s Reckless Love, telling them:
“Okay. When they are ready. Thank you guys; be seated please. Livingstone (the church’s worship band) is amazing but that song was boring me to death so I had to come up, man- that was just long.
“Well thanks, guys. We’ll come back. We’ll sing together in a minute. I was sleeping off.“
