G3 Board Announces Purge Of All Josh Buice’s Content and Sermons Following Disqualification
The Board of G3 Ministries has shared a new update about their former President Josh Buice, announcing they’ve decided to purge and delete all Buice’s content from all their platforms- videos, sermons, articles- despite saying a day earlier they intended to keep them up.
Two days ago, G3 announced that “the elders of PMBC uncovered irrefutable evidence that Dr. Buice has, for the past three years, operated at least four anonymous social media accounts, two anonymous email addresses, and two Substack platforms. These accounts were used to publicly and anonymously slander numerous Christian leaders, including faithful pastors (some of whom have spoken at G3 conferences), several PMBC elders, and others. These actions were not only sinful in nature but deeply divisive, causing unnecessary suspicion and strife within the body of Christ, and particularly within the eldership of PMBC.”
As a result, he was disqualified from being an elder at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church and resigned from his role as President of G3.
Two of the alleged anonymous accounts he operated were “Grant Hawthorne” and “Secrets in the Shadows,” which he used to criticize well-known Christian figures such as John MacArthur, Doug Wilson, and Tom Ascol, often from a more ‘conservative’ perspective.
The accounts targeted various issues, including Buice’s frustration over The Master’s Seminary University chapel band featuring multiple Hillsong songs on their public playlist, or Founders hiring Peter Sammons, who was allagedly fired from TMS for plagiarism. According to sources, Buice opted for anonymity to avoid backlash, fearing public criticism under his real name would lead to significant repercussions.
Initially, the board stated:
While Josh has acknowledged with the elders that he is presently disqualified from serving as an elder, we do not believe at this time that his sin is necessarily permanently disqualifying. Accordingly, his content will remain accessible via the G3 website and G3+.
This has changed, however, with a new statement published yesterday offering:
Due to the public and egregious nature of the sin, we believe Josh Buice has stained the mission and character of G3 Ministries (G3). After further consideration and godly counsel, we have made the decision to remove all of Josh Buice’s content from every platform. This will take some time to accomplish. From our founding, G3’s purpose has been to educate, encourage, and equip local churches with sound biblical theology. With sadness, yet in light of these recent events, we do not believe Josh’s content will help fulfill that purpose any longer.
They also clarified the reason for canceling the conference, stating:
While the conference and ministry could continue without Josh’s leadership, we chose to cancel this year’s event primarily because several of the scheduled speakers had been sinfully targeted by him through anonymous accounts. Even though he will not be leading the conference moving forward, we did not want to put these brothers in the difficult position of deciding whether to participate in an event so closely tied to someone who had maligned them. We understand this is disappointing to many who have faithfully supported the conference over the years, but we believe this was the necessary and right course of action in light of such grievous sin.

Either that or its all just a cover for Calvinism’s waning popularity. Buice takes the fall but G3 really died because people woke up and rejected the doctrines of disgrace, especially due to them causing Lawson’s fall by adultering because he thought his sins were all predestined.

I think as time goes on I believe we will find out more and more about how Buice went after other brothers and ministries and how Machiavellian he has been.
