Bethel Prophet Charges $6000 For Prophetic Training Courses
Dan McCollam is the co-founder of the School of the Prophets, the SQ Institute, and the Prophetic Company, the two former which are joint ventures with Bethel chief prophet Kris Vallotton.
According to his Bethel bio, Dan McCollam “has authored several prophetic books and manuals including Basic Training in Prophetic Activation, Prophetic Company, The Good Fight, and Bending Time” and is “known as a prophetic father and reformer, revealing the heart and purpose of New Testament prophecy.”
The Prophetic Company Acadamy is based on the belief that “The healthiest prophetic people in the world are those who commit to communities where prophetic synergy, innovation, and accountability are available.” As a result, they teach people how to become prophets, but also how to train others to become prophets.
There are singular courses that folks can take to become a better and more attuned prophet, such as “God Vibrations: The Power of Sound” for $79 or Basic Training for Prophetic Activation PART 1 for $59.
Their big ticket item, however, seems to be a course that helps someone become “a certified prophetic trainer in less than 10 months!”
They reveal that “Prophetic Company trainers have spent decades developing a revolutionary biblical training method that has helped thousands of people on six continents confidently and clearly know the voice of God” and that “Now we are making these equipping secrets available to you and inviting you to join our global team of Activate Certified Trainers.”
The course costs $6000, unless you pay it all upfront, in which case it costs a mere $4997.
This course has a “total value of $17,996”, with some of the major perks being that you have “the credibility of being certified with the Prophetic Company” and “the listing of your name and event on the Prophet Company Global Website.”
But, of course, the real value is the money it can make you.
As a Certified Trainer, you can charge your students tuition to teach them to become better prophets, with the website noting, “Do the math! With just 100 paid participants at $69 each, you could more than pay for your 10 months of training tuition in one weekend!”
And like a good scheme, you get a 40% discount off their Prophetic Company training materials like books and manuals, which you can then “sell at your own ACTIVATE prophetic equipping event and make an additional $500 or more per gathering.”
In fact, ‘Dan has sold as much as $12,000 of materials in a single weekend!’
Currently, they have 121 prophets registered on the website, earning McCollum anywhere from $605-750K from this endeavor, not including their other courses, which add up quickly.
Oh well, a prophet has to make a living, right?
