Nancy Pelosi Brags That She’s Still Taking Communion Despite Archbishop’s Ban
Former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is bragging in a new interview that she’s still receiving communion in her home dioceses despite being explicitly forbidden by her archbishop more than two years ago.
In a wide-ranging interview with the National Catholic Register, Pelosi, who claims to be a practicing Roman Catholic despite repudiating nearly all their teachings, commented on a letter (see below) Salvatore Cordileone, the archbishop in Pelosi’s home of San Francisco, sent her in 2022, which prohibited her from taking communion until she stops supporting and entrenching abortion.
NCR Writes:
Pelosi told NCR that the sacramental ban didn’t shake her devotion.
“I received Communion anyway. That’s his problem, not mine,” she said.
“My Catholic faith is, Christ is my savior. It has nothing to do with the bishops.”
The San Francisco Democrat also discussed the emotional toll the incident took on her family and her reliance on faith.
“My faith is always with me. I always feel there’s an angel on my shoulder,” she said.
At the heart of her spirituality today, she said, is the belief in the “divine spark within every individual” — a conviction she said she shares with the late John Lewis, with whom she had a close bond.
“That spark of divinity is what I respect in every person, especially if they respect it in themselves.”
In a statement responding to her admission, Archbishop Cordileone offers that “I would like to renew my request for prayers for the Speaker’s conversion on the issue of human life in the womb, that it be consistent with the respect for human dignity she displays in so many other contexts” while urging her to join him for an honest dialogue.
By and large, the Roman Catholic Church, led by a cowardly pope who embodies the spirit of antichrist more than any pontiff since Pope Alexander VI, has repeatedly refused to show hardly any backbone when it comes to abortion-promoting grim reapers politicians like professing Catholic Joe Biden, and his little grim reapettes.
In 2020, following Joe Biden’s election win, Archbishop José H. Gomez, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, sent a letter to Biden congratulating him on his win and affirming his Catholic faith, despite living the last few decades of his life in mortal sin.
Furthermore, Archbishop of New York Timothy Dolan, one of the most influential Catholics in the world and a legitimate contender for the papacy after Francis passes, when hearing of a rogue priest in North Carolina, refused to give Biden communion due to his being in mortal sin due to promoting baby-killing, confirmed that if he were in that spot, he would have given him communion.
Likewise, after the one event of his life where he was ever denied the elements, Biden was dumbfounded and aghast that he would be chastised this way, explaining, “It’s not a position that I’ve found anywhere else, including from the Holy Father, who gives me Communion.”
and she’s washing down the wafer with a bottle of sacramental wine…
“That’s his problem, not mine”
Better guess again. Read 1 Cor. 11:27-29.
The one who takes it in an unworthy manner is the one who’s responsible. This is why in many protestant churches a stern warning is often issued before hand, reminding those in attendance not to take it if their heart is not right with the Lord.
