Joe Biden Awards Former Planned Parenthood Prez. Cecile Richards The Highest Civilian Honor

President Joe Biden has awarded the former head of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her tireless work of overseeing the death of over 15 million babies during her 12-year tenure at the Abortion Giant.

This prestigious award is the nation’s highest civilian honor and is awarded by the President of the United States to “individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the security or national interests of America, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors,” according to the government’s website.

Biden shared a picture on X with Richards, who was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer earlier this year, with a caption reading, “With absolute courage, she fearlessly leads us forward to be the America we say we are — a nation of freedom.”

She returned the favor, thanking him on X.

According to a press pool report cited by The Christian Post, the private ceremony saw ebullient praise heaped upon Richards:

“With absolute courage and conviction, Cecile Richards fearlessly leads us forward to be the America we say we are — a Nation of freedom. Carrying her parents’ torch for justice, she’s led some of our Nation’s most important civil rights causes — to lift up the dignity of workers, defend and advance women’s reproductive rights and equality, and mobilize Americans to exercise their power to vote. A leader of utmost character, she has carved an inspiring legacy that endures in her incredible family, the countless lives she has made better, and a Nation seeking the light of equality, justice, and freedom.”
