Pope Francis Explains Why He Gave Communion to Pro-Abortion Nancy Pelosi

Last month, in a rare showing that the Roman Catholic Church, led by the insufferably heretical Pope Francis, is not just a bloated corpse of Mariology and malaise, American Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, who leads the archdiocese of San Francisco where Pelosi attends mass, announced that she would be subsequently barred from taking the eucharist on account of her rabidly pro-abortion ways, which are considered known mortal sins within the Roman Catholic faith.

At the time, he explained that a “Catholic legislator who supports procured abortion, after knowing the teaching of the Church, commits a manifestly grave sin which is a cause of most serious scandal to others” and told her:

“You are not to present yourself for Holy Communion and, should you do so, you are not to be admitted to Holy Communion until such time as you publicly repudiate your advocacy for the legitimacy of abortion and confess and receive absolution of this grave sin in the sacrament of Penance.

But Francis doesn’t care. He’s on record saying, “I Have Never Refused the Eucharist to Anyone,” and has expressly thwarted the instruction of Cordileone who is acting according to the Catholic Catechism, ultimately sending a message to Pelosi not to listen to her archbishop and to keep on her crooked path.

Last week while visiting the Vatican, Nancy Pelosi met with the Pope briefly and then soon after was given communion, despite her lamentable wickedness and openly repudiating Roman Catholic teachings for years, functioning as a living emblem of what openly defying ones church looks like. She’s not Roman Catholic by their standards and should have been excommunicated decades ago, but Francis doesn’t care.

In an hour and a half interview with Reuters, where he also denied plans to retire soon and where he was asked why he gave her communion, Francis condemned the actions of her archbishop, saying:

“When the Church loses its pastoral nature, when a bishop loses his pastoral nature, it causes a political problem. That’s all I can say.”

This is stuff for the aging commie, who has been busy affirming the faith of Joe Biden and saying he would never refuse him communion, instituting ‘vaccine ‘passports’ at Vatican City, endorsing civil unions for gay couples, hating on anti-maskers and those urging caution at taking the COVID vaccine and releasing his most outrageously blasphemous statement.

Nancy Pelosi says Pro-lifers Sold ‘the Whole Democracy Down the River’- Gets Slammed by Her Bishop

Nancy Pelosi’s Bishop slammed her for a series of recent comments against pro-life Christians and advocating for abortion, but stopped short of excommunicating her or promising to withhold communion, a move which betrays how fundamentally unserious the Roman Catholic Church is about policing their own.

Pelosi was a guest on Hillary Clinton’s “You and Me Both” podcast and the discussion naturally turned to Trump and the storming of Capitol Hill. Pelosi pointed out that even though 70 percent of people held Trump responsible for it, tens of millions of people still don’t support removing him from office.

Why? One issue: abortion. And that is enough. When you take the greed of those who want their tax cut — that’s probably a small number, but nonetheless a number — and then you take the abortion issue. And many of these people are very good people; that’s just their point of view. But they were willing to sell the whole democracy down the river for that one issue.

Pelosi continued that Christian voters continuing to make abortion an issue is an element that she has been “talking about for a long time that gives me grief as a Catholic.”

I think that Donald Trump is president because of the issue of a woman’s right to choose. When he signed that paper saying, ‘These are the judges that I will appoint,’ that was the dog whistle to the evangelicals, to the Catholics and all the rest. A woman will not have the right to choose [abortion]…

People need to see a place for themselves in the future. Many of these people don’t see that place. [President Joe Biden] should show them that there is a place for them — that it’s not a zero-sum game. Women and minorities and LGBTQ people can thrive, not at their expense. When we’re addressing the climate crisis, it isn’t at the expense of their job.

In response to these comments, the Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone of San Francisco said in a statement:

And on the question of the equal dignity of human life in the womb, she also speaks in direct contradiction to a fundamental human right that Catholic teaching has consistently championed for 2,000 years. “Christians have always understood that the commandment, ‘Thou shall not kill,’ applies to all life, including life in the womb.

Despite her comments and lifelong commitment to baby butchery, Pelosi by and large has not received any pushback from the Roman Catholic Church for which she claims membership, even when she signed a letter a few years ago requesting a Bishop not attend March for Life events.

If they had any guts they would have excommunicated her and publicly shamed her and every pro-choice catholic politician decades ago, refusing them communion and kicking them out of Church. But with the Pope himself recently given Biden communion, these sort of statements are just that – words on the page and mean nothing unless it is accompanied by action. House Democrats’ Rules for Congress to Remove ‘gendered terms’ for Referring to Rep’s Families

(NY Post) Proposed changes to the rules of the House of Representatives would “honor all gender identities” by eliminating such specific terms as mother and father, son and daughter, and aunt and uncle.

Instead, only gender-neutral terms such as “parent,” “child,” “sibling” and “parent’s sibling” would be allowed in the text of the House rules, according to the proposed changes.

The proposed changes — which also include the establishment of a House “Office of Diversity and Inclusion” — will be voted on after the House convenes Sunday for the new 117th Congress.

Another rules change would prevent Republicans from amending a bill at the last minute, the Washington Examiner reported.

Instead, such proposed changes would send the bill back to committee, effectively killing it, the Examiner noted.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that’s needed so that last minute bill changes — known as Motions to Recommit — are “no longer used to hijack the legislative process for political gamesmanship.”

The new rules will make the House “the most inclusive in history,” Pelosi said in announcing the proposed changes
