LifeSiteNews Permanently Banned from Facebook, Youtube

LifeSiteNews has announced that they’ve been permanent banned from Facebook and have had their page unpublished, resulting in losing hundreds of thousands of followers, thousands of posts, and over a million comments.

The move to deplatform them comes just months after announcing the embattled website was likewise suspended and kicked off YouTube, losing another 300,000 subscribers there and narrowing their circle of influence even further

The website, which primarily covers news related to abortion, had its page taken down for publishing “false information about COVID-19 that could contribute to physical harm” and that they published “vaccine discouraging information on the platform.”

In this case, it appears to stem from an April 9th article titled “COVID vaccines can be deadly for some” where they explain that some people who have gotten the vaccine have died from it. Despite this being well-documented that a small portion, even if it’s a tiny one, will have adverse side effects and can die from it, Facebook doesn’t anyone to post anything but ringing praise, and therefore they have been excised from social media., never to be seen again.

This is not a temporary measure: It is gone for good and cannot be appealed.

LifeSiteNews’ Marketing Director Rebekah Roberts said in a press release:

“We have known this day was coming for months now….

Facebook has been silencing any voice that goes against their beliefs and agenda. Our LifeSiteNews Facebook page has been removed simply because we have shared reports of doctors, nurses, expert researchers, and even the former Pfizer VP speaking out against the COVID shots. We’ve also been tagged for the numerous articles we have shared making the connection between the COVID shots, and really all vaccines, and aborted baby cell lines…

This all comes down to another case of Big Tech silencing free speech on their platform.”

We know that it is only a matter of time before we here at Protestia “shuffle off this mortal coil” as well and get banned from Facebook. We have migrated already to Gab.com, where you can find us at @protestia for that eventuality. Mercifully, we also have our Patrons, who support the mission after we took a leap of faith and removed all ads on our website, losing the ad revenue but making our site more accessible. If you’re able to help out in any way, join us and help see Christ glorified through the practice of discernment and polemics.

LifeSite News Launches Petition To Cancel Pope’s ‘Morally Rotten’ Conference

LifeSite News has launched a petition against the Vatican for hosting a “Health” Conference on “Exploring the Mind, Body, and Soul,” explaining, “Everything about the conference is rotten — morally, scientifically, and culturally,” and amassing over 22,000 signatures calling for its cancellation.

Despite being populated by Roman Catholics and having an entire variant of their website designed as the “Catholic Edition,” that promotes and reports Catholic news, Lifesite has been notoriously critical of Pope Francis, deigning him to be dangerous and likely one Papal Bull shy of being an anti-pope. As for the problems with the conference, they explain:

Incredibly, the conference organizers have listed huge numbers of globalist and abortion-promoting speakers such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, vaccine developers, Mormon elders, pro-abortion Chelsea Clinton, population control advocate Jane Goodall, a New Age activist, a prominent UK Muslim scholar, and pro-abortion American actress Cindy Crawford, among others.

The logo for the conference is a circle of people linking hands, colored in the tones of the LGBT rainbow flag, and positioned next to the crossed keys and Papal tiara of the Pontiff.  In the ten goals listed for the conference, the Pontifical Council for Culture makes no reference to God or the Catholic Church.

Given that LifeSite News focuses on anti-abortion work, they note that the conference is having the following speakers, among others.

  • The CEOs of Pfizer and Moderna, the former of which produces abortion pills;
  • The Director of the National Institute of Health (NIH) Francis Collins, who advocates using fetal tissue in research projects;
  • Chelsea Clinton, a strong advocate for abortion;

LifeSite concludes their petition with a call to action, noting, “this conference contains such a high concentration of poison for the Faith and the faithful that it should be canceled, not only for the contents itself, but also for the grave scandal it will (and is already) cause” and asking signers to “contact the following Church authorities to politely, but firmly, voice your dismay and displeasure at the anti-God, anti-life, and anti-faith conference which the Vatican has scheduled for the beginning of May. Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi – Head of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Culture. Email: cultura@cultura.va; Phone: [+39] 06 6989 3811.”

Twitter Suspends Lifesite News for ‘Misgendering’ Transgendered Politician

Twitter has continued its trend of science-denying activism by suspending two of Lifesite News’ accounts for the sin of calling President Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health a “man.”

Both their main account and their “We Can Defend Marriage” account received the banhammer for tweeting about transgendered politician Rachel Levine, who is most definitely a man but believes he’s a woman.

Biden names transgender ‘woman’ as Assistant Secretary of Health. ‘Rachel’ Levine is a father of two who divorced his wife in 2013 after 30 years of marriage.

Certainly provocative in our day and age, and also 100 percent true.

Lifesite’s YouTube channel also received a 2-week ban a few days ago for one of their videos on vaccines, which the media giant says violated its’ “community guidelines.”

It is not the first time Lifesite have been axed for going against Twitter’s rules on junk science. They recently spent almost a year locked out of their feed for tweeting out an article that was negative towards transgender activist “wax-my-private-area-or-I’ll-sue-you ‘Jessica’ Yaniv.”

Lifesite has no plans to relent and take down their post.

[Editor’s note: Lifesite should follow the appeals process, and if Twitter won’t give up its’ moronic stance, then it should be pursued legally.]
