Jerry Falwell Jr. Comes to Senses: Drops Defamation Lawsuit Against Liberty U

Disgraced Former Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. has come to his senses and dropped a lawsuit he filed against his former empire, likely realizing that there’s something called “discovery” and deciding he doesn’t want any part of it.

Falwell led Liberty University for 13 years and then was allowed to peacefully leave “on good terms” with a huge multimillion-dollar severance given to him by a cowardly board of trustees despite being embroiled in a sex scandal and a history of inappropriate behavior, started by the infamous yacht photo.

Lawyers for Falwell pulled back the case and the Judge granted the motion to dismiss it, for now, with Falwell having the option to refile it at a later date. He said in a brief statement Thursday:

I’ve decided to take a time out from my litigation against Liberty University, but I will continue to keep all options on the table for an appropriate resolution to the matter.

Falwell claimed in the suit that Liberty violated its employment agreement with him by disparaging him publicly, something they should not be able to do according to his contract, as well as making public comments on the reasons he was leaving. He asserted that these “defamatory or slanderous remarks” wrecked his reputation and caused him immense personal and professional damage.

As to why he’s withdrawn his suite, what likely happened was that Falwell realized that in order for Liberty to demonstrate they had not defamed him with falsehoods, he and family and friends would be deposed and have to answer a series of questions under oath that he definitely did not want to be asked, less his further corruptions and vices be exposed.

With Falwell doing things like throwing Trailer Park Boys themed parties, posing with pants unzipped with a family friend, liking half-naked pictures of models, giving interviews where he’s either drunk or on drugs, or engaging in bizarre weight lifting videos, he likely knew they had more than enough fodder to light that keg.

Interestingly enough, even while Falwell was embroiled in a legal case against his former school, he hasn’t kept too far away from Liberty. He was given a tour of Liberty University’s new Vines Center a few weeks ago, tagging them in an Instagram post.

As for Vines Center’s page, well, they’re posting pictures that certainly seem inspired by their past leader. We’re not sure why they would post pictures like this on an official social media page for a Christian University, which has drawn predictable comments, except to say that clearly, Falwell’s permissive influence over LU is more pervasive than we thought.

Jerry Falwell Jr. Brings Multi-million Dollar Defamation Lawsuit Against Liberty University

Jerry Falwell Jr., the former President of Liberty University filed a defamation suit against his former employer, alleging destruction of reputation, improper, malicious, and politically-motivated haranguing against him, as well as breach of contract following his ousting as leader of the largest Christian university in the world

Falwell was caught with pants unbuttoned partying on a yacht cosplaying with his family as the Trailer Park Boys , ‘liking’ and giving ‘thumbs up’ to semi-nude students on social media, and for allegedly participating in sexual perversions and sundry forms of cuckoldry. As s result of these actions he was consequently let go as president of the University, leaving officially on good terms, which let him keep a $10,000,000 severance package.

The lawsuit alleges:

Falwell is seeking a pretty penny. While the official word is that he’s asking for an “undisclosed sum,” given the nature of what Falwell is alleging, he is effectively seeking tens of millions of dollars along with a gag order and an NDA to prevent the University from publicly criticizing him and his actions going forward.

While Liberty has not responded yet to the charges, we reported last week that they took the next step in their pledge to launch a comprehensive review of their business operations and shady practices, hiring global forensic law firm Baker Tilly US to investigate the University, as well as setting up a website to “facilitate the reporting of potential misconduct to the investigative team.”

Bizzare Jerry Falwell Jr. Yacht Pictures were from ‘Trailer Park Boys’ Themed Party

Update #1. In another act of Falwellian sketchiness, we found exclusive evidence of Jerry ‘Liking’ a picture of a half-naked supermodel on Instagram, further evidence that he’s pretty much abrogated all pretense of being a Christian witness and godly leader. That post can be found HERE

Pictures that emerged last night of Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. in a state of undress, holding a wine glass and standing beside a young woman with pants unzipped, turned out to be images from a Trailer Park Boys themed party, and not of a more illicit nature that many questioned and suspected.

We wrote in the original article that Falwell uploaded and then deleted a series of photographs and images, which we’ve captured here.

The video demonstrates that these are not photoshopped, but are the real deal. Particularly, this video below shows the cosplay is taking place among several of the Falwell extended family, all of whom have since taken their social media private.

Here is a gallery showing the comparisons between the three main characters from Trailer Park Boys. Bubbles, Ricky and Julian, and the Falwell friends and family.

Trailer Park Boys is a raunchy and crass Canadian mockumentary TV Show that aired 106 episodes across 12 seasons. The theatrical film for the shows actors, Swearnet, set a world record for the most F-words in a feature film, totaling 935. The uncensored show has an 18+ rating in most countries and is known for the copious amounts of sex and, drug use, and cursing. At least three episodes have plotlines involving making homemade pornography.

We can’t imagine a supposedly above-reproach, Christian leader of a Christian university thought this was a good idea, traipsing around with drink and cigarettes-in-hand and pants unbuttoned, in imitation of what by all accounts is a gross, expletive-laden tv show where many of the main characters spend nearly every episode drunk or high.
