Days ago, worship leader Sean Feucht caught the attention of famed hacking group Anonymous, who publicly insisted they had evidence he was having an affair with U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District representative who recently filed for divorce from her husband. They publicly threatened to “destroy him” by sharing with the world proof of his misconduct which they claimed they discovered after hacking his accounts.
In response to people sharing the story, Feucht warned them they had 24 hours to retract it, or he would sue.
The evidence against him never materialized. Rather than releasing proof of this supposed infidelity, they instead offered up some sad non-smoking smoking guns. They complained online that Feucht made a lot of money “grifting” during Covid times, posting his publicly available tax information, and claiming he was “grooming” his daughter because he was encouraging her to “prophesy.”
Of course, nothing they said was surprising to us. Given that he rose to prominence after staging a series of public worship events all across the country, during a time when the whole world was locked down and churches were forbidden from gathering, an increased giving to his ministry should be no surprise.
