‘Pro-Life’ Texas Mayor Compares Opening Planned Parenthood Clinic to Planting a Church

A Texas mayor who campaigned on the platform of being pro-life is receiving much-deserved backlash after comparing the opening of a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in his town to starting a new grocery store or church.

Lubbock Mayor Dan Pope, professing to be ‘unequivocally pro-life’ made the grotesque comments on The Chad Hasty Show, after receiving pressure from State lawmakers and hundreds of local residents to designate Lubbock as a Sanctuary City for the Unborn.

“Telling Planned Parenthood they can’t come to Lubbock would be in some ways like telling United they couldn’t build another store or telling the Southern Baptist Convention they couldn’t do another church start in Lubbock”

The mayor described the ordinance as a “slippery slope” and has bristled at putting it into effect, arguing that he shouldn’t be telling businesses “what to do.”

“It’s not the lane we need to be in. We need to do the things we were elected to do: provide police and fire services, make sure that our parks are maintained, make sure that we take care of our streets. Do the things that citizens elect us to do.”

Lubbock used to have an abortion clinic in town, but it shut down in 2013. Now looking to begin the baby-killing anew, the apex predator of the abortion industry, Planned parenthood, has begun posting job opening s in town for the proposed new abortuary and has given notice on their website of the impending new business.

If the ordinance passed, Lubbock would join 14 other cities in the state which have similar laws which outlaw abortion within city limits, with the proposed ordinance stating: “It shall be unlawful for any person to procure or perform an abortion of any type and at any stage of pregnancy in the City of Lubbock, Texas.”

Trump Drags Biden for Extreme Abortion Position ‘It’s Basically Baby Execution’

President Trump took a swipe at Joe Biden during a roundtable discussion on Sunday, saying that the decrepit democrat favored after-term abortion, which he summarized as which is basically ‘baby execution.’

Trump made the comments during a campaign event in Las Vegas with “Latinos for Trump Coalition,” where he said:

“[Biden} supports taxpayer-funded extreme late-term abortion, and he supports it very strongly. Late-term, even after-term if you think, if you look at the governor of Virginia. He said ‘the baby is born’ and then really I guess you call that an execution, because we’re not even talking about during term, we’re talking about after-term abortion, and Biden doesn’t want to take a position on that.”

President Trump is referencing Virginia’s Democratic Governor Ralph Northam’s comments on born-alive abortions he made on a radio show in early 2019, saying “The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired.”

He may have also been referring to the Democrat’s refusal to support the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, a proposal that would guarantee medical care for babies delivered alive after failed abortions. Biden has not explicitly voted against this, but his running mate Kamala Harris has.

Though Biden used to be more moderate on his abortion position within the Democratic party- as much as one can be when we’re talking supporting a woman’s right to dismember, chemically burn, or suck out babies in the womb- in recent years he has taken on the most extreme of positions and has disavowed all previous compromises and restrictions, promising now to codify Roe V. Wade into federal law and rejecting the Hyde Amendment.

Abortionist Who Bragged About Cutting Baby’s Vocal Cords Loses Medical License

A notorious abortionist recently hired to an Alabama abortion clinic has had her medical license suspended after it was revealed she lied on her application.

Leah Torres gained intense notoriety in 2018 after her brash and obstreperous Twitter posts gained widespread attention, with Torres gloating on social media about cutting babies vocal cords so they can’t scream, after being asked if she is haunted by the heartbeat of the infants she kills, writing:

“You know fetuses can’t scream, right? I transect the cord [first] so there’s really no opportunity if they’re even far enough along to have a larynx. I won’t apologize for performing medicine. I’m also a ‘uterus ripper outer,’ if that’s how you’d like to describe hysterectomy.”

Though recently started working at West Alabama Women’s Center (WAWC), taking a job at one of the states largest abortion clinics in mid-August, her medical license was revoked just weeks later by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners for lying on the application and making fraudulent statements on her application.

Her suspension may be short-lived, however. A spokesperson for the WAWC gave comment saying that the board’s decision to suspend Torres’ medical license is the result of a “misunderstanding” and that they look forward to getting her resolved and keeping her on staff.

Ted Cruz and 20 GOP Senators ask FDA to Classify Abortion Pill as ‘Dangerous’ and take it off the Market

In a move sure to enrage both pro-choicers and so-called Christian progressives alike, most who are pro-choice anyway (Jemar Tisby and The Witness BBC) a group 20 Republican senators, led by Texas senator Ted Cruz, sent a letter to the Food and Drug Administration asking the commissioner to “Classify the abortion pill as an ‘imminent hazard to the public health’ that poses a ‘significant threat of danger’ and remove this pill from the U.S. market.

The letter also accuses the abortion industry, the media, special interest groups, and billionaire philanthropists of wanting an ‘unregulated and demedicalized’ abortion pill since it was first intriduced.

“We believe this deadly pill should never have been approved, yet the abortion industry was politically rewarded with an accelerated approval process normally reserved for high-risk drugs that address life-threatening illnesses like AIDS. As you are surely aware, pregnancy is not a life-threatening illness, and the abortion pill does not cure or prevent any disease.”

….According to FDA reporting, the abortion pill has taken more than 3.7 million preborn lives, caused 24 maternal deaths, and resulted in at least 4,195 adverse maternal reactions including hemorrhage, excruciating abdominal pain, and severe life-threatening infections.

The pill was approved by the FDA in 2000 and is currently used as a primary means in many abortions.

In the U.S. House, Republican Rep. Jody Hice is leading a group of 72 representatives in sending a letter making the same request.

Georgia Megachurch Pastor Fights to Keep Abortion Legal because ‘It is Consistent with Christianity’

A Megachurch pastor and Democratic Senate Candidate who has surely sold his soul to Satan commented last week that he believes legalized abortion is “consistent” with Christianity and has vowed that he will fight to keep it.

The remarks come from ‘Impastor’ Raphael Warnock, who oversees the 6,000-member Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. The church is associated with the thoroughly apostate Progressive National Baptist Convention and Warnock has already been endorsed by Planned Parenthood.

In an interview with WGAU’s Tim Bryant, the host asks Warnock (in nicer terms) how his desire to see babies butchered squares with his “role as a minister, a leader of a church, a man of God.” Warnock Responds:

I believe that healthcare is a human right, and I believe that it is something that the richest nation in the world provides for its citizens, and for me reproductive justice is consistent with my commitment to that.

I believe unequivocally in a woman’s right to choose, and that the decision is something that we don’t want government engaged in – that’s between her and her doctor and her minister. And I will fight for that in the United States Senate, and at the same time continue to fight so women can receive the kind of services that they need in order to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy babies. We have a maternal death rate in this country that is exceedingly high, particularly to be the richest country in the world.

When pressed whether or not it was “consistent with God’s view… that God endorses the millions of abortions we’ve had in this country since Roe v Wade?” Warnock shrugged:

“I think that human agency and freedom is consistent with my view as a minister.”

Man Arrested and Charged for Pulling Gun on Pro-lifers at Planned Parenthood

(LifeSiteNews) Pro-life activists called police while witnessing to life at a Planned Parenthood facility after being threatened by an armed man.

The First State Update reported that on the morning of August 21, the Dover Police Department arrested a 31-year-old man from Wilmington after a confrontation with pro-life demonstrators in the parking lot of Planned Parenthood.

Jerome Aniska, 31, confronted pro-lifers with a gun at a Planned Parenthood in Dover, Delaware.

According to Sergeant Mark Hoffman, the department’s public information officer, police were dispatched to the area after receiving a call from pro-life advocates concerning a man threatening them with a handgun.

Hoffman said witnesses told police that the suspect had argued with the pro-lifers while they were on a public sidewalk. He then pulled out a black handgun and threatened the activists. Before officers arrived, the suspect was seen going to the trunk of his vehicle.

Upon searching his car, officers discovered an empty holster in the center console and a black 9 mm handgun in the trunk.

The suspect, identified as Jerome Aniska, was released on $26,000 unsecured bond. He was charged with aggravated menacing, terroristic threatening, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

This was reported by many news agencies, including the Associated Press. However, the Associated Press’ headline did not make it clear that someone had threatened the pro-life activists…

Austin City Council Cuts Police Funding by $150M, Shifts Portion of Money to Fund Abortion

(CBN News) The City of Austin, Texas is doubling down on its stance as a sanctuary city for the abortion industry while simultaneously going woke with plans to defund the police.

The city’s 2021 budget, approved unanimously by the all-Democrat Austin City Council on Thursday, cuts $150 million from the Austin Police Department, or roughly a third of their funding. Millions of dollars will be redirected to other public services, and the city council feels that should include subsidizing abortion access.

“Today I hope that the community feels hope,” said Councilmember Greg Casar.

The council’s move makes Austin the first of Texas’ four biggest cities to drastically cut police department funding. The share of the police department budget that was cut is among the largest percentage decreases in the nation this year, according to the Texas Tribune

Last year, the Texas Legislature passed a law prohibiting state and local governments from using taxpayer dollars to support abortion businesses and their affiliates.

However, as CBN News reported, the City of Austin circumvented this law by including a line item of $150,000 in the city’s budget for abortion logistical services. While the funding cannot pay for the abortion procedure directly, this money is earmarked for expenses related to abortion, including transportation to the appointment, lodging, childcare, and legal services.

The city contracted with Jane’s Due Process, a pro-abortion organization that’s been accused of exploiting underage girls by showing them how to obtain abortions without their parents’ involvement. Pro-Life Austin residents have since sued the city, however, their 2019 lawsuits have been pending in county courts for almost a year.

Abortion Access Earmarked as ‘Social Services’

In setting the budget for 2021, Austin reaffirmed their commitment to killing unborn children with taxpayer dollars by increasing the funding allotted for “abortion access” to $250,000. The approved budget starts by taking $21.5 million from the Austin Police Department’s funding and shifting that money to pay for social services, community resources including response to the coronavirus, mental health aid programs, violence prevention, victim services and food, housing, and abortion access.

“But abortion is not health care. Abortion does nothing to…

94% of Doctors in Belgium Favor Killing Disabled Babies After Birth

(Life News) A “disturbing” new research paper has revealed how 94 percent of Belgian doctors support the killing of new-born babies after birth if they are diagnosed with a disability.

Michael Robinson, SPUC Director of Communications said: “It is deeply disturbing that medical professionals who should protect and value each human life hold these shocking beliefs.”

The research article surveyed the attitudes of healthcare professionals in Belgium towards the ‘termination of pregnancy at viable stage.’

93.6% of physicians in Flanders region, Belgium, surveyed “agree that in the event of a serious (non-lethal) neonatal condition, administering drugs with the explicit intention to end neonatal life is acceptable.”

The research article also states that: “Physicians more often prefer foeticide over neonatal palliative care in case of non‐lethal foetal conditions…Almost nine out of ten respondents (89.1%) agree that in the event of a serious (non‐lethal) neonatal condition, administering drugs with the explicit intention to end neonatal life is acceptable.”

Is the concept of ‘after birth abortion’ becoming acceptable?

In January 2019, the Governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, defended a state bill which would have allowed babies to be killed during labour.

Northam, who is a paediatric doctor, described how a baby with disabilities could be left to die after birth.

The Governor said that if a woman who was about to give birth desired an abortion, the baby could be delivered and then “resuscitated if that’s what the mother and family desired and then a discussion would ensue” between doctors and the mother…

Texas Abolitionists Make Abortion’s Abolition an Official TX GOP Priority

During their recent biennial convention, the Republican Party of Texas (RPT) passed a legislative priority to abolish abortion completely. It reads: “Abolish abortion by ensuring the right to life and equal protection of the laws to all preborn children from the moment of fertilization.”

Despite Texas Right to Life and Texas Alliance for Life’s insistence on an incremental approach to ending abortion, the RPT chose to listen to the abolitionists, who outnumbered those testifying in favor of incrementalism five-to-one at the hearings. The complete abolition of abortion is now one of Texas Republicans’ eight official legislative priorities, while the incremental proposal did not even make the top fifteen.

RPT Delegate David Sims testified to the Legislative Priorities Committee about the folly of compromise and the necessity of holding firmly to our principles. “We’ve got to stop with the strategy of begging the supreme court to allow us to compromise with evil. It’s unprincipled and it clearly isn’t working. It’s time to stand firmly on God’s word and on the Constitution and provide equal protection of the laws against murder to preborn children. It’s time to abolish abortion.”

Wesley Thomas from Abolish Abortion Texas was another delegate who testified in favor of abolition. When asked if he feared that abolishing abortion in Texas may lead to a civil war, Thomas replied, “55,000 plus children per year are currently being aborted… That is a war, okay? And so… if we’re not willing to lay down our lives to save 55,000 children, are we not asking them to lay down their lives for us instead?”

The Satanic Temple Raffles Free Abortion, Admits Aborting Unborn Babies is a Satanic Ritual

(CBN) The Satanic Temple (TST) has announced it’s raffling a free abortion to promote the organization’s religious abortion ritual, while it argues that its members’ religious rights are exempt from any state laws or any regulations that might block access to abortion services during the first trimester.

According to TST, the free abortion can be medical or surgical and is transferable upon request.

Headquartered in Salem, Massachusetts, TST describes its new Satanic abortion ritual  as a “spiritual experience designed to instill confidence and self-worth in accordance to TST’s religious beliefs.”  The organization contends those who practice the Satanic abortion ritual are exempt from being subjected to waiting periods, mandatory counseling, forced viewing of sonograms, and reading materials as required in many states.

“TST bases its assertions of abortion mandate exemptions on the protections provided by State Religious Freedom Restoration Acts or RFRA, which generally prohibits the government from substantially interfering with a person’s free exercise of religion,” TST said in a press release.

The Satanic Temple claims their abortion ritual as practiced by its members is exempt from the existing abortion regulations on the basis of religious liberty. They point to the 2014 Supreme Court ruling that Hobby Lobby as a business had the right not to cover birth control, including abortifacient drugs, as a part of its health care program for its employees, because of its religious beliefs that viewed such a practice as immoral.

TST says all abortions by its members are religious acts of Satanism and protected under the ruling.

The organization has also made a sample letter available to all its members to request a religious exemption to abortion restrictions.  Founded in 2012, TST claims to have more than 300,000 members…
