Prominent worship artist Cory Asbury has apologized after posting a photo of himself and singer Forest Frank shirtless following a post-workout session.
After sharing the photo a few days ago, he received some *minor* backlash in his feed, with some fans accusing him of being immodest and a stumbling block, resulting in Asbury deleting the picture. He shared his motivations on Instagram:
“A few days ago, I posted a recap of [my] tour with Forrest, and one of the pictures was a picture of a couple of us working out, shirts off.
Honestly, I didn’t think much of it, but I wanted to bring some clarity to that post. My heart was just to share highlights of the culture that we were experiencing on the road. It was about mind, body, soul, health. So, we were working out a lot, and one of those days, we’re just looking at the progress and going, ‘Man, we’ve come a long way,”
He continues:
“There was no intention for anyone to stumble or be a block of offense at all. I guess there was a little controversy over that on the internet that I just decided, in talking with Forrest and Tony, we’re just going to take that photo down. That doesn’t need to live on the internet as a thing of offense that could possibly be a stumbling block.”
Naturally, given the mildness of the claims, some fans were teasing him and taking some good-natured shots.

While we have an “uncensored” copy of the photo, we’re not going to share it at their request.
