Major Abortion Abolitionst Conference Coming to Canada in September

Several prominent abortion abolitionists will visit Canada for Maple Abolition: a three-day mission and conference, featuring teaching sessions, panel discussions, fellowship, and on-the-ground activism to address the widespread acceptance and celebration of abortion in Canadian society.

Held from September 18–20, 2025, the conference is free to attend and hosted by The Mill Christian Fellowship in Mississauga, Ontario. It will include well-known abolitionists, leaders of anti-abortion organizations, and local pastors and teachers, such as:

  • Russell Hunter: Founder of Abolish Human Abortion, Free the States, and Abolitionist Rising; credited with reviving the abortion abolitionist movement in the United States.
  • John Speed: Author, Director, & Pastor of Missions and Evangelism at By the Word Baptist Church.
  • Laura Klassen: Founder and Director of Choice for Two.
  • Matt Trewhella: Pastor of Mercy Seat Christian Church and founder of Missionaries to the Preborn.
  • Derek Green: Elder at Braidwood Bible Church, Peterborough, Ontario.
  • Steve Bainbridge: Pastor of The Mill Christian Fellowship, Mississauga.
  • Ron Kronz: Pastor (Emeritus), founder of Street Church DC, missionary, and activist.
  • Paul Gowdy: Pastor, church planter, and evangelist.
  • C.R. Cali: Pastor of Sermon in the Park, author and director.
