(Church Leaders) The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and the SBC Executive Committee (EC) are named as defendants in a new, federal lawsuit against Pawleys Island Community Church (PICC), Pawleys Island Christian Academy (PICA), and certain church and school leaders.
The class action lawsuit is the sixth suit to be filed since it came to light that a convicted sex offender was volunteering on the South Carolina church and school’s campus. It is the first suit filed in federal court and the first to name the SBC.. to continue reading click here.

The SBC and many, if not most, SBC churches just don’t honor Matt. 18, 1 Cor. 6, and similar instruction concerning the responsibility of the church and church leadership. They just don’t. And they do not care. I’ve learned that the hard way. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the EC had been informed of the wickedness and did nothing. That’s exactly what they did to me.
