A week after anti-ICE protesters descended on and staged a protest inside Cities Church, invading the building and sparking a global outcry, a GiveSendGo fundraiser has been launched to help the Minneapolis-area SBC church beef up security measures to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Created and promoted by conservative commentator Benny Johnson yesterday afternoon, the fundraiser is designed to help the church with “stronger security, reinforcement of their House of Worship and legal fees to fight back against these vicious attacks.”
The church was targeted on account that one of the church’s pastors, David Easterwood, is an ICE field director.
According to Johnson, Cities Church pastor Jonathan Parnell “has authorized this GiveSendGo personally so that Cities Church in Minnesota can defend Christians.”
So far, it has raised more than $35k against a goal of $100k.
