A woman attending a Christmas performance at a Houston-area megachurch was hospitalized after being kicked in the face by a camel, knocking her unconscious.
The woman was attending Champion Forest Baptist Church, a 7,000-member multisite church in Texas, which featured a visual extravaganza and a live Nativity scene of camels and even elephants.

As the camel was being led through the aisles, it jerked and kicked back with its hind leg, striking the woman in the face and leaving her unconscious.
Emergency responders brought the woman to the hospital, where she was treated and eventually released.

I am reminded of a time in seminary where some guys were talking about crazy stuff they arranged for the youth group at church. The professor said, “guys, when you are planning stuff for church events, you might try imagining what it would be like to explain these decisions from a witness stand.”
It isn’t bad advice.
From the still photos, the church’s presentation should have been titled “What has this to do with Christmas?”
Camels and elephants, yet where is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ ?
That’s a nice lawsuit.
Why would anyone think to do this? Absolutely outrageous to bring live camels into a church.
