Theo Von Days Says He’s In a Weekly Bible Study With Morgan Wallen

Comedian and podcaster revealed in a recent episode of ‘This Past Weekend’ that he’s been attending a bible study with music star Morgan Wallen.

In an episode with comedian Leanne Morgan, Von shared:

Theo: “Yeah, you promised Morgan (a casserole). Look, you make me one, I’ll give it to Morgan. I’m gonna see him tomorrow at Bible study, actually, so.”

Leanne: “You will see him at Bible study. I think he’s gonna end up preaching, that little thing.”

Theo: “You know, I have no idea…He’s an inspiring guy. He’s just, he’s an interesting- Morgan is, he is him, you know? Authentic.”

Leanne
: “And ya’ll are in a bible study. Is it a Beth Moore? What are y’all studying?”

Theo: “I mean tomorrow I think we’re watching a movie but it is, it is Bible study.”

Leanne: “That’s so sweet Theo Von.”

Theo: “I’m not sure what chapter we’re on. I shouldn’t even have said that because-“

Leanne:” I’m not in one right now. I used to be in one when was growing raising my children but I don’t, I’m not in one, and I to be disciplined to do it on my own.”

Theo: “Well that’s when you the Lord the most, when you’re raising those little henchwomen um and men.”

Von has spoken occasionally about his search for faith and desire to believe something, candidly revealing that he’s on a spiritual journey and looking for something deeper, once revealing in a podcast :

“I know some people out there are atheist and stuff and they don’t want to believe in anything and that’s I just I can’t understand I can’t understand it.

But I also come from a place where I think I felt alone a lot. If you’re telling me that there is a free Parent, a free love, a free heart, out there in the universe, that’s a lottery ticket that I don’t have to scratch, man, I’ll take that all day.

Because I want to be a part of something bigger. I don’t want to be a part of just myself. I think Jesus Christ would be a great guest. I think he’d be great to talk to. I think that’d be a nice person to sit down and have lunch with. I don’t wanna not have any faith, man.”
