Ministry-Based Tech Company ‘Gloo’ Seeks $100M IPO

Ministry-based tech company Gloo is looking to go public with a $100M IPO to drive further growth and invest in AI technologies.

With a mission to “build the leading vertical technology platform for faith and flourishing ecosystems,” Gloo, founded in 2013 by Scott and Theresa Beck, is based in Colorado. It provides free and premium ministry tools and marketplace offerings while funneling new investment capital toward ministry-based technology, products, and services.

Gloo serves 140,000 churches and ministry leaders, reporting 57,000 paying customers and generating $41M in revenue over a 12-month period from four revenue streams: subscriptions, advertising and marketing, marketplace offerings, and platform solutions.

For a marketing example, example, Gloo “produces and curates ministry-specific content and resources that drive traffic for churches and frontline leaders and generate advertising revenue” for these brands.

Current partners include Barna Group, Igniter Media, Church.Tech, Church Law & Tax, Masterworks, Outreach, Servant, and Visitor Reach.
