‘Malcolm in the Middle’ Star Frankie Muniz ‘Proud to live for Jesus’
Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz spoke of his seeming Christian faith on X, wishing folks a happy Sunday while declaring, ‘I am proud to say I live for Jesus Christ, who’s with me?’
Muniz has largely stepped out of the acting limelight, save for small bits and cameos now and then, and now races cars for a living. Public references to his faith have been essentially non-existent, save for an Instagram video back in January, where Muniz writes:
Hilarious contrast of feeling good praising God, to being pissed off in the matter of minutes. All part of his plan so you have to trust the good and the bad. I was going through old photos and videos on my phone and I found these from 5 years ago.
Muniz has been plagued with health problems for the last few decades, revealing that he has awful memory, including few recollections of his time on Malcolm in the Middle. He told Steve-O in a podcast clip:
“I’ve gone to a lot of doctors over it and looked into it. As weird as it sounds. I don’t want to blame the (nine) concussions. I just think it’s the fact I did so f**king much in that timeframe that, of course I can’t remember all of it…. A lot of my memories now are that I can’t distinguish if it were a dream or if it was reality.
I was having these episodes where I’d have numbness, I couldn’t really see, I’d lose my vision. And everyone was telling me you’re having these TIE’s (transient ischemic attacks) or mini-strokes…. Nobody could really give me a straight up answer.
If you search my name, all it talks about is that I have no memory or that I’m dying of strokes. The reality is I finally got diagnosed with just aura-migraines, intense migraines.”
His wife, model Paige Muniz, with whom he has a son with, has been vocal about her faith on Instagram, writing about which books of the bible she’s reading and studying (Leviticus.)
