Parkside Church has named the man who will be taking over the role of senior pastor from Allistair Begg, with Dan Schillero assuming the call. The announcement was made during Sunday’s service.
According to his church bio, “Dan Schillero joined our staff in June 2013. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and earned a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dan and his wife Emily have four young children.”
Begg announced last September that he would be stepping down from the role, and he preached his last message on June 17th.
On Sunday, Parkside Church named Dan Schillero as Allistair Begg's successor, taking on the role of senior pastor.

Just because he went to SBTS means nothing anymore. I say that as a graduate of that once great Seminary 30 years ago. Al Mohler has destroyed it.
Before Al Mohler it was liberal, and he turned it around. I wish he’d have done things differently, but to say he destroyed it…?
He has an effeminate speaking style. This is not going to go well.
Also him specifying that they can only critique his preaching by “how much he proclaims Jesus Christ and him crucified” means he is going to deviate from biblical teaching on sexuality and they aren’t allowed to critique that because no matter how gay his preaching gets he will say “but I’m proclaiming Jesus Christ and him crucified” and dismiss morality. This statement combined with his effiminate voice and manner of speech proves its going to happen. Its inevitable.
It seems The Cult of Celebrity is certainly alive and well there, just as it is everywhere else.
