A New Record? SBC Church Has EIGHT ‘Female Pastors’ on Staff
As the Credentials Committee continues to rule that egalitarian SBC churches with women pastors are in friendly cooperation with the denomination, showing yet again why the Law Amendment is needed, we wanted to highlight an SBC church that is really straining the limits of what the rank-and-file messengers can handle.
Meet Beltway Park Baptist Church. This Southern Baptist, multi-campus megachurch in Abilene, Texas, averages 5071 people per service and is led by senior pastor David McQueen.
Along with being charismatic in its beliefs, including speaking in tongues and believing people have the gift of healing and prophecy, they are egalitarian in their leadership, having eight pastrixes on the payroll. These lady pastors include:
- Wendy Hollabaugh. Family Ministry Pastor
- Sherrie Saltzgaber. Prayer and Freedom Ministries Pastor
- Dacy Ivy. North Campus Elementary Pastor
- Jessica Hallgren. Women’s Groups Pastor
- Sarah Turner. Online Campus Pastor
- Aubrey Jarrett. Administrative Pastor
- Karen Graves. Benevolence and Ministry on Call Pastor
- DeAnna Fields. Digital Strategist & Communication Pastor
No mere backbenchers, three of these pastrixes are part of the church’s senior leadership team.
When we reached out to them to inquire about their affiliation, they confirmed that they were part of the SBC. When we asked about the fact that they have multiple pastrixes on staff, and how could this be as it violated the BFAM 2000, they explained:
Each SBC church is autonomous so yes, we are able to make those decisions within our individual church bodies. We do have women pastors in various areas of ministry. We also believe that all of the gifts of the Spirit are available today and that the Holy Spirit distributes those gifts. So, in light of gifts such as tongues, prophecy, interpretation, healing, etc. we would believe those are still available to the Believer today.

I tried to search both Genesis, in the old testament and Jesus speaking to this, in the new testament.
Sadly,,, the woke virus and algorithms have wiped every proper question addressing this issue, from the internet.

My church “Baptist” refuses to listen to my argument that we should withdraw from “friendly fellowship” with the SBC. I removed myself from its fellowship.
The SBC no longer serves God.
That’s the way to do it: just walk away. The Groupthink is strong with many churches now.
Women tend to see and speak in terms of similarities. With them, “everyone is welcome”. This is not scriptural, seems to me, as Jesus said he didn’t come with peace, but instead, a sword. He also said anyone who doesn’t come in by the gate but by some other way is a thief and a robber. Some time ago, in a comment section of a video about the Satanist Anton Lavay, I’d mentioned what his girlfriend/wife said about his death, in that he’d realized, as he was slipping away, that “something was wrong”, and wanted time to repent to YHWH. He passed very soon after, without being given the time. A female replied that Jesus would’ve said, “Oh, never mind!”, meaning, “come on in”. I responded to her that it doesn’t work like that. In that one response to my comment, she showed me the mindset of women. Church isn’t about affirmation, but conviction of sins. That’s the long and short of it.
The truth is very offensive to a world now enveloped in darkness. Women, and wimpy men offer a soft and fluffy, non judgmental version of God that the lost can follow while loving this evil world.
Substack and X blocked me as well as Favebook and blogspot long ago for not following the femm-spirit of this age.
All this is a feature, not a bug. The whole purpose of evangelicalism, be it in the SBC or other formerly conservative denominations, is to reconcile Christianity to a rapidly secularizing culture. Believe and live however you wish so long as you fill a chair on Sunday and drop some mites in the plate. You can’t pay a mortgage if you run off the customers. We have to get ib the Delorean and go back.
