Christian Influencer Nala Ray Threatens to Sue Pearl Davis For Defamation, Violating Privacy Rights

Cultural commenter Pearl Davis (@pearlythingz) has been served legal documents by former pornstar-turned-Christian influencer Nala Ray, with the latter accusing Davis of violating her privacy rights and making defamatory statements about her.

Nala Ray once made millions as the top 0.1% of Only Fans creators. She bought a mansion in LA, traveled the world, and engaged in sexual hedonism, sharing her body with millions for money.

Then she revealed that she became a Christian and was baptized, deleted her pornographic content, and eventually married the man who led her to the Lord. She gave her testimony on multiple platforms and seems to have bore fruit in keeping with repentance, even if there have been some bumps and bruises as she deals with the messy consequences of her sinful past and the sanctification challenges new Christians face.

All the while, however, she has been plagued with critics. While some of them have been gracious and gentle in their rebukes, pointing her to a better life and practice, others have included professing Christians who have been unbelievably cruel and vicious, posting with the seemingly sole intention to humiliate her and goad her on. In a similar vein, there have also been self-righteous pagan who have been smearing her face with her past sins at every chance they get, which brings us to Davis.

Davis, whose feed is littered with hundreds of references and callouts to Ray, routinely excoriates and mocks her as a sex worker, grifter and and whore, present tense. She has even gone so far as to share pornographic images from Nala’s past in her feed, serving X-rated content to her nearly half a million followers to shame and degrade her.

And now, Nala seems to have enough. Davis shared part of the letter sent to her by Ray’s lawyers:

“Recently, our Client learned that your YouTube Channel, @JustPearly Things and “Pearl Daily” is engaging in the spread of false, destructive, and/or defamatory content about her, as part of your self-described “campaign against her” directed towards her Christian faith and her past as an OnlyFans creator. You have frequently cast our Client in a false light and have made false allegations/allusions to intentionally damage her.”

Responding to the letter, Davis is defiant, writing “Someone tell this bitch I am not deleting shit,” and adding on for good measure:

For a good video of where Nala’s heart seems to be at, this recent video between her and Michael Knowles paints a good picture.

  2. “The two most fundamental defences arise from the doctrine in common law jurisdictions that only a false statement of fact (as opposed to opinion) can be defamatory. ”

Saying someone’s conversion is not sincere and that they have a monetary motive for the conversion, is mere opinion. Most of the statements cited therefore, cannot be defamation because they’re mere opinion. But saying “she’s still a hooker” could bite Pearl big time.

    1. Agreed, that will bite Pearl later on.

Also doesn’t help in Pearl’s case that she’s a race-mixing mudshark to begin with. Therefore mudshark detected = opinion rejected
