Notorious Late-Term Abortionist Describes His Work as ‘Utter Exhilaration’

An infamous late-term abortion ‘doctor’ continues to show the ongoing depravity of the human heart, describing his work of killing babies and the respite and thankfulness he received from mothers who just murdered their children as ‘Utter exhilaration.’

Dr. Curtis Boyd, 86, who we previously covered after he was caught on hidden camera advising a female decoy on how best to abort a healthy, 8-month-old baby, is one of the most prominent baby murderers in American history.

Boyd has been performing illegal abortions since before Roe. v Wade was passed in 1973, as well as participating in an underground abortion network called Clergy Consultation Service. He has performed an estimated 250,000 abortions, specializing in terminating pregnancies in the second and third trimesters.

During a recent talk at a DC Bookstore to discuss his memoir “We Choose To,” Boyd talks about how and why he had the strength to continue despite the hardships he endured. Live Action summarizes it this way:

Boyd compared the happiness he experienced in killing preborn babies to the joy of delivering live babies and giving babies to their families.

“It was utter exhilaration,” he said, describing committing abortions. “I never had that feeling other than delivering babies,” Boyd said. Boyd further described the exhilaration he felt when fulfilling women’s desires to kill their children, emphasizing his initial comparison of abortion to childbirth.

“[During birth], the child comes out. It’s alive and healthy… it’s very exhilarating. This [abortion] was like that for me… It was exhilarating for the families and the women. This euphoric feeling, so liberating for them – the power it gave them… controlling their own life… just to kind of guide their destiny.”
