More than 2000 Officers Deployed to Track Down and Arrest Fugitive Megachurch Pastor

Thousands of police officers in the Philippines are working day and night to track down megachurch ‘pastor’ and noted heretic Apollo Quiboloy, who is currently on the run and in hiding.

Quiboloy, 71, is head of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) Church, a restoration church in the Philippines that claims 4 million members in the country. They believe that only those within their denomination will be saved and that their pastor had a miraculous birth that was foretold by God himself.

Their crazed leader, who has publicly stated he is “The Appointed Son of God,” is on the run after being charged with “orchestrating a sex trafficking operation that coerced girls and young women (as young as 12) to have sex with the church’s leader under threats of “eternal damnation” according to a Justice of the Department release.

Quiboloy would tell the women and girls that if they did not satisfy his deviant sexual urges, they risked hellfire and damnation for the sin of refusal.

He is believed to be hiding in underground bunkers deep below his Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Davao City, but officials are now six days in, and are unable to find the entrance despite an unprecedented amount of resources. According to the Manila Standard:

Director for Police Community Relations Brig. Gen. Roderick Augustus Alba said personnel form the Police Regional Offices…were deployed to augment the civil disturbance management (CDM) force of PRO-11 (Davao) in the ongoing search.

“It’s because PRO-11 does not have enough resources in terms of human and material resources, considering this high-profile case involving the leader of a big church group. It really needs support from other units. The area is too big compared to Camp Crame, actually approximately 32 hectares, so the more than 2,000 personnel earlier deployed is, in fact, not enough.”

Reportedly, as police entered the compound, over 60 of them were assaulted by multiple church members, with 29 congregants either arrested or cited for their crimes.
