Texas Megachurch Lists 30 Bedroom, 31 Bath ‘Parsonage’ for $15M Dollars
A word of faith televangelist in Texas has listed his luxurious parsonage for sale, asking a cool $15M for the property, which boasts six houses on 24 acres of land.
Bishop I.V. Hilliard and his wife, impastor Bridget Hilliard, are the founders of New Light Church, a 23,000-member megachurch in Texas now being led by their daughter Irishea Hilliard.
This is the same ‘pastor’ who, despite being a multi-millionaire, once ask congregants to send him $52 each as a ‘favor seed‘ so he could upgrade the blades on his helicopter.
The church recently listed its property for sale on realtor.com, and it is dripping with luxury amenities.
Sitting on 24 pristine acres, it boasts a lake stocked with trophy bass, a magazine worthy primary estate, five junior estates, a resort style pool with cabanas, 22 garage spaces and two garage apartments over 40, 000 SF of living space.
Renovated in 2020, the property includes 30 bedrooms, 31 baths and 5 half baths. Granite throughout all wet areas, two wet bars, updated fixtures in all baths, a home theater, en suites in all primary estate bedrooms, a banquet hall, commercial kitchen and an office complex with a fitness center. But wait there’s more! The owners suite is complete with a 25 ceiling, luxurious en suite including a sunken jacuzzi tub, private exercise room and more. (click image to enlarge)
The house is categorized as a ‘parsonage’ because along with being the pastor’s home, it also serves as a ministry retreat and conference center, making it exempt from property taxes. Ministry Watch, who note that Hilliard’s children live across the street from this compound in homes valued at $4.7M and $4.15M, respectively, explain:
“Appraised in 2023 at $7,966,887, the property would have incurred an estimated $152,168 in annual property taxes. But thanks to the parsonage tax exemption, the Hilliards and their church enjoy a tax liability most homeowners in their 28,000-member congregation can only dream of: zero.“

How many mansions did Jesus have? Are ANY member of this “church” catching on yet? It is great that this “pastor” is enjoying his mansions on this rock. Because he will NEVER see a mansion in Heaven. My guess is, few of the cogregation will either..
But that is between God Jehovah/Yahweh and them. I have my own salvation to worry about.
God is not wanting anyone to perish, and invites all to come to Him through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The ‘pastor’ may not be a Christian at this point but the invitation to him has not been withdrawn!
Judgement comes with a sentence, and you have sentenced him to eternal damnation, which you have no authority to do.
If you have ‘salvation’ why are you worried about it? Jesus said ‘he that believes on Me has everlasting life and shall not return to condemnation’. He also pointed out that he that does not believe ‘is already condemned’ “because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”.
To go to heaven one must be born again (Jesus said it). The human (flesh) birth only occurs one time. The ‘spiritual birth’ only occurs one time. Thus, if you confess Jesus with your mouth, believing in your heart that He rose from the dead you are born into the family of God.
Some will pay big to ease a guilty conscience…..on any pretext.
