No Surprises Here: Anglican Head Condemns Israel for ‘Illegal’ Occupation of Gaza, ‘Systemic Discrimination’
In a move that should surprise no one, and in which no one even cares, Justin Welby, the head of the Anglican church (a simpish and effete hireling better known as the Archbishop of Canterbury), has released a new statement condemning Israel’s ongoing presence in Gaza.
Last month, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the United Nation body used to settle disputes between countries, condemned Israel’s ongoing presence in the occupied Palestinian territory as unlawful, declaring it should come to an end “as rapidly as possible.”
But the United Nations is a trash body where thugs and tyrants are given seats of power and moral equivalency with far more moral nations, where countries will freely commit genocide among their own people while hypocritically condemning minor infractions in others, either real or imagined. This is also true of the ICJ. Here, China is a permanent member, making moral decisions against Israel despite daily perpetuating human rights violations in their own country by locking up a million Uyghurs in detention and regulation camps.
Think of it like a serial Killer who has three women locked up in his basement calling the cops of his neighbor for playing their music too loud.
But the Anglican head is not a deep thinker, and so he writes that it is imperative that governments around the world reaffirm their unwavering commitment to all decisions by the International Court of Justice, irrespective of the situation…” and that “to resist a world where actions such as torture, hostage-taking and indiscriminate violence become the norm, we must apply the law without fear or favour in all circumstance”
Welby insist that “it is clear to me that the regime imposed by successive Israeli governments in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is one of systemic discrimination” and that “through annexing Palestinian land for illegal settlements, depriving Palestinians access to their own natural resources, and imposing a system of military rule that denies them safety and justice, the State of Israel has been denying the Palestinian people dignity, freedom and hope.”
He concludes by noting “ending the occupation is a legal and moral necessity.”
Editor’s note. For decades, the deplorable Anglican denomination has been drifting towards damnation, abandoning all biblical fidelity and proving time and time again millions of members are not the least bit committed to upholding the biblical teachings. Instead, they’ve adopted the worst excesses of the woke movement in a pathetic and desperate attempt at relevancy, and it shows. From voting to bless same-sex civil “marriages” to praising the Hindus for celebrating their pagan holiday’ Diwali’ and wishing them well on their week of unrestrained idol worship, they are as corrupt as they come.
