Steven Furtick Mocked Mercilessly for Wearing $2000 Oversized Sweater for Easter Sermon

Our recent post of Steven Furtick wearing a $2000 sweater during his awful Easter sermon have gone mini-viral within the Christian Twittersphere, garnering nearly 900,000 combined views and serving as a quick view bump for anyone posting likewise.

It’s a highly mockable piece of attire: oversized, made of pointelle alpaca and reindeer (or Yak) wool, full of holes, “flamingo” in color, and costing more than most mortgages, making it ripe for ripping on.

Even the Babylon Bee, the biggest Christian satire site in the world got in on the action with their article Steven Furtick Debuts New Line Of Chastity Wear

While Furtick rightly deserves the negative attention, we only wish it were more for his awful theology and self-centered reading of the scripture that he’s infecting hundreds of thousands of people with, rather than his clothing choices.
