At Upcoming Annual Meeting, The PCUSA Plots To Remove All Clergy Who Aren’t Pro-LGBTQ

Since its formation, the Presbyterian Church (USA) (PCUSA) has existed as one massive pen for goatlings, run almost exclusively by faithless, didn’t-finish-well octogenarians and blue-haired lesbians, with barely a sheep to be found. Some of their greatest hits over the last three years include:
Church Fasting from ‘Whiteness’ During Lent
Church Releases ‘Transgendered’ Remix of ‘Be Thou My Vision,’
Pro-Abortion Pastrix Says Stories of Jonah and Zacchaeus are Proof We Should Subsidize Birth-Control
Presbyterian Pastor Denies The Virgin Birth ‘It’s Biology 101’
No Surprise Here: PCUSA’s Clergy Health Plan Covers Elective Abortions
PCUSA Pastor Says Jesus Would Have Been an ‘Abortion Doula’ + ‘Blessed Are Those End Their Pregnancies’
True to form, their LGBTQ activists are plotting something big at their upcoming General Assembly this summer, setting their sights on barring the ordination of any candidates who do not swear fealty to the rainbow flag.
An overture is being sent up the creek for consideration by the Olympia Presbytery, which would change language in the Book of Order. At present, Section F-1.0403 which covers Unity in Diversity, reads:

But soon, it would read:

The rationale for the overture explains:
“Twice in 2022, Olympia Presbytery held ordination votes on the floor of presbytery involving ordinands with opinions that did not fully embrace the equal and affirmed status of LGBTQIA+ persons in the church. Those conversations were difficult because the Book of Order does not include gender identity or sexual orientation in its list of protected classes. These experiences reveal the need for denominational clarity concerning the church’s ministry to LGBTQIA+ individuals as full participants in all aspects of life in the church…..
We follow this encouragement by urging that gender identity and sexual orientation be established as protected classes against which we must not discriminate. As the PC(USA) continues to celebrate the gifts of our LGBTQIA+ siblings, we must amend our Book of Order to prevent discrimination against those same siblings.
I.e., no PCUSA clergy would be able to discriminate against queer folk in church under their designation as a protected class, including not only barring LGBTQ congregants from any activities or roles in the life of the body but also prohibiting them from decrying disordered sexual proclivities as sinful.
Then comes the other punch to the head. The overture would also modify g-20104b, in the Book of Order under the section on “Gifts and Qualifications” to read (changes in brackets):
“Standards for ordained service reflect the church’s desire to submit joyfully to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life (F-1.02). The council responsible for ordination and/or installation (G-2.0402; G-2.0607; G-3.0306) shall examine each candidate’s calling, gifts, preparation, and suitability for the responsibilities of ordered ministry. The examination shall include, but not be limited to, a determination of the candidate’s ability and commitment to fulfill all requirements as expressed in the constitutional questions for ordination and installation (W-4.0404) (and in the principles of participation, representation, and non- discrimination found in F-1.0403). Councils shall be guided by Scripture and the confessions in applying standards to individual candidates.”
Put another way, all PCUSA candidates who want to be ordained for ministry must affirm LGBTQ folks as a protected class within the denomination and must not discriminate against them for any reason, lest they be deemed unsuitable, ensuring that any prospective conservative clergy with a biblical view of marriage and sex would be barred from consideration.
And the American “church” keeps swirling down the drain. And don’t you love the tolerance, equity and inclusion crowd.
I told Redeemed Zoomer his reconquista was doomed to fail because you have to be a presbyter to have any power in a presby church AND that as even if you all become presbyters the presbyteries would just start defrocking conservative presbyters AND therefore the reconquista would never work.
