Apostate Kanye West Curses Up a Storm Following Win as Billboard’s Top Gospel Artist

Days after being named Billboard’s Top Gospel Artist, beating out Elevation Worship, Cece Winans and Maverick City Music, rapper and producer Kayne West released a new expletive-laden single, making it clear that the gospel is the furthest thing from his mind.

We had high hopes for Kayne. When we first covered his supposed conversion in 2019, he was in good hands and was being taught and discipled by pastors who were theologically sound. Over the years he demonstrated some good fruit, such as Kanye West Talks Expository Preaching and Jesus on Joe Rogan Podcast and Kanye West Talks Faith In New GQ Interview, saying things like:

One of my pastors, pastor Adam, the way he preaches is called expository. It’s like one-to-one by the Word. I like all different kind of preachers but there are some type of preachers they get up, they have the bible in their hand, and they close the bible and they just talk for two hours.

And some do have anointing, but expository preachers go line for line, and for me it’s like I come from entertainment. I got so much sauce, I don’t need no sauce on the word. I need the word to be solid food that I can understand exactly what God was saying to me through the King James version, through this, you know, this translation or the English Standard Version.”

Unfortunately, in the years since, his fruit has rotted into a smoldering mass of mold and worms. A messy public divorce, frequently bad theology, shacking up with a whorish woman, pagan thinking, hedonistic behavior, inexcusable actions, racist statements- all illustrative of seeds that fell on poor soil.

Its all just more of the same at this point, demonstarted by his new single ‘Vultures’ , which is a far cry from the Dove-nominated, Grammy-winning “Jesus Is King” album he was praised for in Christian circles just a few years ago:

Three gang leaders with me, all times.
I don’t know who I f****d last night, I got Alzheimer’s.
I don’t know who them hoes is, man, they all lyin’.

Brody, tell me who them hoes is, man, they all fine.
Runnin’ hooligan, and we with the foolishness.
How I’m anti-semitic? I just f****d a Jewish b***h.
I just f****d Scooter’s b***h and we ran up like Olympics.

Got pregnant in the threesome, so whose baby is it? Whose baby is it?
My n***as puttin’ belt to a**, pull up with the switches.
This ain’t Jimmy Butler but the heat got extensions.
This ain’t Columbine, but we came in with the trenches.”
