Report: Justice Samuel Alito Wanted to Block Abortion Pill Because Biden Might Ignore Lower Court Ruling

(LifeNews) On Friday, the Supreme Court issued a 7-2 decision to allow sales of the dangerous abortion pill to continue while the legal case doctors filed against the illegal FDA approval process moves forward.

Justice Samuel Alito joined Justice Clarence Thomas in voting to block the abortion pill while the case continued – or at least banning mail-order abortions so women would not or be injured during the continuation of the lawsuit.

His reasoning has received little attention but it’s certainly worth noting.

Alito voted to keep the 5th Circuit decision in place because of the Biden administration’s lawlessness and suggestions from abortion advocates that the Biden administration just ignore lower courts.

“[T]he Government has not dispelled legitimate doubts that it would even obey an unfavorable order in these cases, much less that it would choose to take enforcement actions to which it has strong objections,” Alito wrote.

  1. I don’t know all the particulars of what the case is about, but it makes you wonder whether or not the return to federalist principles and sending it back to the states was all smoke and mirrors.

      1. Your rabid zeal to target me is making you stupid.

It is an attempt by the federal government to force a state to allow a drug that murders an unborn child, therefore taking the matter out of the hands of the states. The rest of the details are fairly irrelevant. SCOTUS needs to make up its mind. Is it a state matter or is it not? If it is, then the states have the authority to regulate those drugs, for any reason, whether the FDA approves of a drug or not.

That’s all I need to know in order to make the comment that I made.

  2. God bless Alito and Thomas. I can’t imagine the pressure and disgust they have to live with on a daily basis.

  3. So much for the Separation of powers and the supposed adversarial nature of government

We’re rapidly devolving into unified structure of government; AKA Socialism
