CCM Singer Amy Grant, LBGTQ Icon, To Host Niece’s Same-Sex Wedding
Contemporary Christian Music icon Amy Grant, an artist who has sold over 30 million albums, won six Grammys and 26 GMA Dove awards, has been gay affirming for a long time. Though her position was always couched in just enough plausible deniability, she came out clearly last year, saying in a 2021 interview:
Who loves us more than the one who made us? None of us are a surprise to God. Nothing about who we are or what we’ve done. That’s why, to me, it’s so important to set a welcome table. Because I was invited to a table where someone said ‘Don’t be afraid, you’re loved.’ …Gay. Straight. It does not matter.”
“It doesn’t matter how we behave. It doesn’t matter how we’re wired. We’re all our best selves when we believe to our core, ‘I’m loved.’ And then our creativity flourishes. We’re like, ‘I’m gonna arrange flowers on your table and my table.’ When we’re loved, we’re brave enough to say yes to every good impulse that comes to us,
In a recent interview with the Washington Post, she explains that her and husband Vince Gill plan to host her nieces same-sex wedding on their farm, and she couldn’t be more excited:
Grant recalls her reaction when she learned her niece had come out: What a gift to our whole family to just widen the experience of our whole family.
“Honestly, from a faith perspective, I do always say, ‘Jesus, you just narrowed it down to two things: love God and love each other,’ ” Grant said. “I mean, hey — that’s pretty simple.”
Over the last three years, multiple bands and personalities have come out as Pro-LBGTQ, including Relient K, Jars of Clay, Switchfoot, Five Iron Frenzy, and Kevin Max. She’s just another one on a long list that’s getting longer.

Seems the more this world works toward the reign of the antichrist, the more it tends to resemble the same exact godless mess the Apostles dealt with in the roman empire and early church. Peter, Paul, James, John, Jude, the Apostles together in agreement, wrote to warn of problems exactly like those we are dealing with now. One being the perversion of God’s grace into a license to sin, sexual immorality in particular. Another being the perversion of God’s love. They went into great detail to clearly define what love is and to whom it is due. When they say “love one another” they clearly define what is meant by “love” and to whom “one another” refers. It is found in every epistle, and in Jesus’ teaching throughout the Gospels.
As born again Christians are being backed into corners, extorted to essentially either renounce or die, sued and put out of business, forced to surrender their children, in some countries arrested and jailed, targeted and destroyed for standing on God’s Word, the wolves further elevate and delight in wickedness, displaying their hatred and disrespect for those they claim to be fellow believers. They do not love us. They despise us. They love the wolves. They hate the sheep.

She is now. To think that I adored her music in the 1980s. I had no idea she had become so profoundly apostate. It’s sad to see, but also good for sincere Christians to see through the mask that these deceivers wear.
She sadly started her downward slide when she left Christian music. Goodness, I remember when that happened. Not long after we had the Sandi Patty debacle too.
I feel at liberty now to express what I’ve thought from the very beginning of her career: her music sucks.

My dear sister. I’d encourage you to read the current Baptist News Global story on Grant. Unless you want to argue that chewing on husks makes people realize that somewhere there must be corn, Grant and CCM are useless.
Amy Grant has been given over to a reprobate mind, but it’s been a long time coming. The telltale sign was when she wanted to sing a song with Peter Cetera back in 1986. She was just using her “Christian” career as a train to reach pop stardom. Thankfully, she failed in that quest, but what a sad fraud she’s turned out to be!! 🤮
