Evangelistic Ministry Claims 250,000 Get Saved after Watching New Film
The Luis Palau Association claims that a quarter of a million people have made ‘decisions for Jesus’ in the last month and a half after watching a new evangelistic film produced by the ministry, according to a press release.
The film Light your World premiered on December 31, 2021 and features personal testimonies of salvation, as well as music by bands such as Toby Mac and Maverick City Music. They explain:
Following the premiere, and all throughout the month of January 2022, geo-targeted ads delivered short rescue stories from contributors around the globe, inviting people to pray and respond to the Gospel. The Palau team used these Gospel ads to reach every continent on earth—ultimately reaching more than 43 million people in 237 different nations.
As a result, more than 1.9 million people visited a website with a clear, written Gospel presentation and 245,609 of those individuals indicated a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior….Even more, of the 245,609 individuals who indicated a decision for Christ, more than 21,000 signed up to receive ongoing discipleship resources from the Palau Association.
Luis Palau Sr. Passed away last year and his sons have taken over the ministry, with the Oregon-based mega-ministry claiming to have shared the gospel with over a billion people.
